It's been a busy weekend, saving lives on my DS...

Anybody play Trauma Center? I doubt very many of you have a DS, but that game's great...you get to perform surgery with your stylus. No, it's not like real surgery, but it's still great fun. I'm thoroughly addicted

I'm off to a Haloween party tonight...I'll have pics up soon...anybody want to start a thread for Haloween pictures?

I'm not doing anything this Halloween. Too old (by a number of years) for trick-and-treating, but too young to be bothered to plan and make a Halloween Party.

Although I said to some of my (female) friends I should go as Hugh Hefner, and they should be my bunnies

I wish I was having a Halloween Party now

Hey all! Happy Halloween to those on the other side of the dateline and an early one to those on my side of the dateline! We're getting our candy ready for the trick or treaters and making dinner.

Ivelliis, any time *ANYONE* offers to play bunny to your Hugh Hefner, you take them up on it. Unless you're married, plan to stay that way, and the person making the offer is not your spouse.

Just had the first two rounds of festivities for my son's birthday, which is tomorrow. Yes, the entire US and many other parts of the world will always be partying on his birthday...

First round started Friday after their half-day of school. We went to Great Wolf Lodge, which is a hotel and indoor water park. Corbin wanted that instead of a birthday party, and we got a wolf den room -- bunk beds inside a small wolf den for the kids They were waterlogged and had a great time.

Grandpa came over today and we had his birthday presents followed by pumpkin stew for dinner. That's not stew made from pumpkins, but stew put together and cooked inside a pumpkin shell Quite tasty, and we'll throw the cooked shell out shortly.

Tomorrow is school, trick-or-treating, and a few friends from the neighborhood over for ice cream after that. Then next weekend, it's the invasion of the rest of the grand parents... Gotta love it

And right now, I'm really working, downloading some of the pictures from the past six months that have been collecting digital dust inside the camera so we can print a couple of them out. Honest. I'm really working. Really! No, I always log on to IW when I'm working. Honest! Really!

Aww, Happy Birthday to your son, Bungleau! And that stew sounds interesting- never heard of cooking it in the shell! What's in it?

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!

Hmmm... sounds like Q'alooaith made for an interesting Halloween. Ain't young love grand (from an older point of view)?

And Cloudy, it's just stew -- meat, veggies, and whatever else you want to put in it. Hollow out the pumpkin, put the stuff in for the stew, and set it to cook -- about 3-1/2 hours, I think it was. Cook it on a cookie sheet or something like that (in case of spillage), and server on the same critter ('cause you won't be able to move it safely). I think it was cooked at 350, but I could be wrong... I'll double-check.

Just booked tickets for a quick trip to Dusseldorf, Germany next month. Going to do a software install for a customer, letting them evaluate before they buy. Should be interesting... they're likely to have a whole host of thoughts on improvements, and will probably increase my workload But they'll also increase my customer base, and also increase my bank account, so I love it!

Any IWers near Dusseldorf... in Burscheid, specifically? I'll be there for just a couple of days, but if there's someone nearby, it'd be nice to meet up for a brief hello.

Happy Halloween all!

Young love is grand Bungleau, and happy birthday to your son!

Been a boring day back at school. I tried to grind on WoW, but was overcome by the lure of the pool table.

Now I really am going to get rid of the rested xp...but pool is so fun!

Apparantly, there's barely any kids that go around trick or treating in my neighborhood. Oh well... all the more candy for me!
