Er... right. Every Aussie friend of mine can pick a New Zealander. Even Aussie kids can, as picked-on kiwi accented kids will attest to.

Where are you getting your info from? You're not Australian so how can you make such a ludicrous comment?

Accents are SPEECH INFLECTIONS, and NOT communicated with the written word.

Lol, reminds me of a time in Spain. I was standing behind some old Brit in a line for food. He was trying to order things in English, and the poor guy behind the counter couldn't understand a word. The old guy didn't try to change his accent though. He just shouted louder and louder and pointed until he was understood
Just like Davros in France!!!

COKE PLEASE!!!!!!!
- rubbish - I just gave the ever helpful, universally recognised hand signal for a Coke - I enunciated clearly, I did not point, AND I DID NOT SHOUT .

Well actually now that I come to think about it, I did shout didn't I - I paid for that round ....... who paid for the next one - was there a next one?

Where's my pint of Cider?

a) stop spamming, 3 posts to answer 3 points from me is a sad attempt at spamming and frankly contravenes the rules here, id point a moderator to that...

b) dont insult my posts, try and answer constructively or in the humourous vein that everyone else on this post is using.

c) im getting my facts from plenty of australian friends around the world, im sorry they arent the same as yours but they ARE facts on the people i know

and californian accent on average isnt as strong as plenty of other accents. for example as i said before southern accent in england ISNT as strong as a northern accent, that would be accepted by northerners as well, whether you can tell the difference or not isnt in question, but i been to california and plenty of friends from austrailia so im speaking from pretty solid ground as to the accents of both.

and sorry but your an idiot if you think that in your 3rd point frankly, cockney is NOT just an accent its a whole way of speech, most of it is rhyming slang which IS nothing do to with inflection and everything to do with the words, so dont talk about something you know nothing about. Having found out about charly from some others now in pm, it seems hes pretty close to my idea of a hardcore cockney, but still not at the same strength as in lock stock, and its pretty stupid to even argue the point with me until charly watches the film and decides for himself.

next time if you want to critise my posts CHECK your facts first and do it in a non aggressive manner, i dont like your tone at all.

And I don't like yours.
Cool down mate, your own post is a good example of precisely the sort of attitude you have a problem with.

Not entirely sure about Australians and Europeans, but in terms of New Zealanders you are correct, our accents are incredibly sexy
