It certainly seemed serious at the time, R_M, given your tone and your inclination. Personally, I think you're doing a fast job of backpedaling. Just be respectful of others here, that's all we ask.

Hey all Happy Muck...errr Monday to you I see we have had a tramatic day thus far, so I say sit down and have a cool frosty or some other concoction form the bar
And on a saide note, NEVER, NEVER say okay to let a friend that you havent seen in 3 years and moved to a differnt country stay with you as a house guest. Oi what a mistake and there still two weeks to go, but she will not be staying with us no mo can you say HOTEL This is my wifes Best Friend, or maybe almost x best friend :uhou2: she has caused more havok and done more damage in a week then my poor wife has in her whole life, didnt they make a movie called house guest ?

Radiant, please don't start arguing technicalities with me. I'm not going to explain how to use smileys to you - I'm sure you know how and when to use them. I gave you some advice on how to deal with fellow members by not having an abrasive attitude (eg calling someone arrogant as a first post on a thread) because that's what I'm here for. I hope you're not telling me that you don't even welcome advice?

I suggest you take my advice in the spirit in which I gave it. I'm not trying to put you down so don't take them that way - I'm telling you how things work here.

There are smileys to show lightheartedness. Using them may avoid these types of incidents in the future. it all seems a tad regimented from what i remembered before- even down to signature sizes.. and i have a dial up modem too so i suffer too...and an abrasive attitude? thats a matter of interpritation. what one person regards as abrasive isnt necesserily immediately correct.

It hasn't changed from what you remembered before, mate - maybe you're comparing it to forums that you've visited in the meantime.

As for abrasive - you're right - One man's wine can be another's poison. BUT I would say that saying to someone you don't even know "this bloke is so arrogant" is not exactly friendly behaviour in my book.

You're more than welcome to PM me if you want to seek further clarification on this, Radiant.

Let ME clarify something: drop the attitude or you are banned.
Blunt enough? I thought so.

NO more posts from *you* on this matter.
