On the site ytou showed me yestersday they're selling "Total Recognition volume-3" in the books section for $28. This must be the book you were talking about as I has the bios and description of every single transformer ever introduced.

I would buy it but I simply Can't.

I agree, Soundwave was way cooler. Not to mention his flawless survival rate in the cartoon. Eric Idle was also the guy who sang that 'Always look on the bright side of life' song right? I know Leonard Nimoy voiced Galvatron. Orson Welles did the voice of Unicron and Judd Nelson from Suddenly Susan did Rodimus Prime.

Omega Supreme..arguably the best of all the transformer figures, I never managed to get my own one...you're a lucky guy Deathbringer
I know , It was either him or Optimus prime and Megatron. Being 5, I had to get the biggest one . I actually never did get a megatron. I got galvatron (or whatever) thou
I had Galvatron as well. His robot form was cool, way cooler than Megatron. Although his alternate form looked rather phallic.

I haven't read the generation 2 comics but I've heard of them though, I'll make a point of buying them thanks
In Japan, they replaced the movie with a special episode called "Scramble City", though they only used old Season 1 and 2 footage for that one, and also ended in a cliffhanger that was never continued... It was however supposed to explain what happened to Optimus and Megatron, and I think the Japanese never really explained anything about it, just "we're 20 years in the future and there are new leaders", that kind of approach.

Although I managed to get a tank Megatron, I have no idea where it's from though as I've never seen the guy transform into a tank.

Does he in another series in Japan or something?

It's an official product of that much I am sure.

Nope, in Japanese continuity Galvatron was the same as the one in the movie. Although he was rather unceremoniously blown up by those lame Headmasters.

I meant Megatron not Galvatron, perhaps he appears in Japanese comics or something?

Thanks anyway Rimjaw.

Oh ok. Also, another major error on my part. In my earlier post I was referring to owning a Galvatron toy and not Megatron. Doh!
