If you read the entire thread, you could have read it's used to
soften the pain for cancerpatients, for instance.

And to think someone disagreeing with you is attacking you, well
that's not true.Talthyr made some good points,imho.

Everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion.
With some i agree,with some not.Yes,the majority
in the thread thinks it should be legalized, but a
majority doesn't convince me to change my opinion.

I was only replying to your comment that you were
thinking that you're the only one against it.
You're not.

Sure, when you drink your mental processes are slowed down, but after you sober up there are no long term side effects. When you smoke weed there are long term side effects.

It doesn't effect higher level thinking, but it really does effect your ability to express your thoughts. Believe me, I know many people that are in this boat. One of my best friends smoked himself stupid. He was/is one of the smartest people I know. He still is smarter then most people are, but he is nowhere near as quick as he used to be. Everybody who knows him can see the difference. Even he admits to being able to feel a difference.

No long term side effects from drinking?? I find that notion quite laughable, many drinkers are left with slowed brain functions, slurred speech etc, and the long term physical effects are devastating.
And I can tell you this, I was not attacking your criticism, I was merely stating my opinion, and for your knowledge, you do not have to had smoked pot on it to have an opinion on it, I'll have you know that no, I am not a regular pot smoker, but that is not important.

EDIT: because the martians are monitioring me
