Drusalia 13/22

While being lost Verrion and Drusalia gave each other comfort and then slowly, at times retracing their steps, they finally reached the cave where they spotted Aeriah, Jena and Kyr.

"So here they all are." - she said to Verrion.

She saw that only Aeriah was awake, so she didn't talk yet.

Jena rested peacefully, and though she did not dream she did occasionally murmur softly during the night. In her sleep state Jena tended to reveal her feelings, her wishes, desires, and hopes, and though unintentional, her sighs, her facial expressions, and the gentle raising and lowering of her chest, were a mirror to her heart. She did not move once during the night as she was so comfortable in Galein’s tender embrace. Subconsciously she was aware that Galein stroked her hair and face, and when she would awake she would assume it had been nothing more than a dream.

In the morning when she was at the point between being awake and asleep, Jena, with her eyes still closed, smiled a sweet smile and spoke softly. “We should just stay here…stay like this: forever. We can...live this way.” Still keeping her eyes closed, she tilted her head against Galein’s chest so her soft feminine features would be facing up toward his own face. She kept her eyes closed a little longer, just enjoying the moment and not wanting to face the beginning of the new day.

Galein smiled sadly and kissed her forehead gently, just holding her in his embrace before finally whispering, "We've got company..."

Jena tilted her head to the side, opened her eyes, and smiled as she saw Drusalia and Verrion. "I'm glad you two were able to make it. Are you ok? Do you need some rest? You must be exhaused."

Jena closed her eyes, content on not yet moving from her position.

Remaining quiet, Galein also declined to move, allowing the others to think what they wished. Stretching slightly, he yawned and murmured to Jena, "Feel like making breakfast... dear?" He asked with a sly grin etched upon his handsome, looking for all the world as though he somehow managed to look as charming as ever, despite his ruffled hair and slumber...

"No..." Jena just giggled with her hand covered over her mouth. She raised her right leg up in the air and made small, deliberate circles. "We don't need to eat..." She giggled happily and with an obvious amused, joking tone. She tugged lightly on Galein, pulling him close and outstretched her fingers in a very threatening tickle gesture.

"Ahem" Galein coughed and tapped on Jena's leg, gesturing that she should put it down. With a slight smile, he murmured softly to himself, "You don't want people getting the wrong idea, do you...?"

Jena grinned michevously. "Let them think what they want." She leaned in close and whispered soft enough so only Galein could hear. "Besides...I wouldn't be surprised if they've had a bit of fun of their own, hmm?" Jena snickered, winked and grinned as she raised her left leg to the level of the one already in the air and made now larger circles with both her legs.

"We're sort of ok. We had a minor skirmish with those flying things and then we got lost while trying to follow your traces. And yes I'm sure that rest would be welcome. I see that the three of you got some of it, but me and Verrion haven't yet."

Meanwhile, as Drusalia answered Jena, Thhiro rose slightly from seemingly out of nowhere and padded over to the pair lying on the ground, nestled up beside Galein's back and purred softly, her stance protective. Kyr was nowhere to be seen, and Fai was... off somewhere, doing... something or other. Maybe.
