Nanashi

She came to a stairwell that led up. The humans were up there. As she neared the top, she saw an overturned table blocking the passage and a guard was not too far off. Another one was smelled nearby to him. Another a little further off still. Voices of two more came from further away from the stairwell.

The guards seemed to have this room set up in defence pretty well, except for one thing. She had abilities that they had not counted on.

She began to shadow-stalk, as the stairwell was shady enough to give her the portal she needed. When she appeared again, it was behind the guard that was closest to the south wall. Behind two overturned tables were two other guards. But she was not yet caring about them. Her sneak attack from behind this man was successful and she ripped into his back, grabbing his heart and extracting it from his still-standing body...holding it there as his corpse toppled over.

While she stood there, balancing the warm heart on her outstreached palm, she now addressed the two other guards that were the nearest to her, behind the tables and near the stairwell.

"Now tell me wherrre Silverrrfall is...and nobody else has to die."

OOC>>>Legolas...did you want to control the counter-actions of these poor doomed mortals?
I'll stop here for now, so you can if you so desire.

================================================== =============================

The Shadow Owl circled high overhead. It watched the death of the dragon who had been stuck in elven form, and had given its master the pleasure of the show he desired to see. It was not expected that the dragon would not have been with the she-wolf Tao...but this was fine. Besides, dragons had always had a high mortality rate on this game, so it was enevitable and did not matter where he went down. Now that he was out of the way, they could concentrate on her with all of their strength. Once they feasted on her flesh, they would be happy little pups indeed.

The owl turned from the scene below. It was time to go elsewhere.

The owl began to fly off in another direction. It had been a long time since he had heard from either of his two best killers...now on assignment in the field, whose job it was to kill one little man of puny insignificance. Why had they not reported back yet?

Andrion Wilgor 28/40

The net hit him and took him down to the ground. He was going to be out of action for a few seconds, but the skeleton he had summoned could still move. Even while falling he sent it the command.

"Attack the one with coppery orange armor!"

Andrion then brought out his knife and started cutting through the ropes.

Plaxica 31/85

He saw the only remaining image have the net on it. He saw parts of the net shimmer in and out of invisibility as the mage struggled to get out from under it. And, most importantly he knew where Andrion was. And the mage could not normally move. Plaxica had no weapon, but he had come to hate the mage. He ran at the invisible figure and lunged at it, planning to attack with his fists and legs.

================================================== =========

Andrion Wilgor 28/40

He saw Plaxica running at him and with some wiggling managed to get his dagger wielding arm through the net, and lifted the dagger up, preparing for the attack of Plaxica.

Here we go again!

The Skeleton vs. Marcos

The skeleton had been ordered to kill the one with coppery orange armor. That man was spotted, laying on the ground, near the drow that it could not attack. The skeleton proceeded to hussle over to the one in the orange armor, bringing its sword out to impale the fallen man with it when it got there.

That move will take a few seconds before the attack can occur

Andrion vs. Plaxica

From what I can gather and predict...this is the outcome in a nutshell. Andrion was ready for the man running at him in time to get his knife up and ready to stab as Plaxica came rushing in, not expecting the weapon.

Roll for damage:
(1d4): 2
Total: 2

Andrion held the blade up and allowed Plaxica to run right into it, stabbing his leg.

Kynnen 57/85

Kynnen found himself on the ground, under Marcos. He looked left and right, to see where his halberd lay, and where the enemy was now. He threw Marcos off to the right, towards Silt, and rolled to the left side to grab his halberd. Getting up with his halberd, he took a stance fo a second, and his eyes flashed the same color again, as before. After the short divination, he ran towards Marcos, jumped over him and in the air turned, swinging his halberd at Silt.

OOC: Again, Detect Good, and if Silt turns to be good, I'll use my Smite Good.

Silt 80/80

Silt's plan had not worked to full extent, but at least he had free'd the inquisitor from the Drow's grasp and diverted his attention; his primary objective.

Jumping up Silt stuck his swords in the air and moved to the side, hoping to deflect Kynnen's halberd away from him, and then make a quick attack to his side.

OOC>>What happened with Faerie fire? Did it cast to no effect?

OOC>>>I was going with the idea that contact had to be made with the sword in order for the spell to effect. The spell is still activated on the sword, and has not been spent at this point.

Time has taken a turn.
With Silt's post complete, all players are now in in the same time frame.

* This means that Marcos has 1 turn left of Stun.
* This means that Vincent can now shake of the effects of the spell as it dissapates from him.

Kynnen struck out with the halberd, having recovered from his tumble. He aimed to attack Silt with it, even as Silt was coming in to slash at the drow.

Now here we go with how this plays out, using the stats that I have been given of each character. Silt was the faster of the two, and easily blocked the attack when the halberd came sweeping at him to take his life. However, the drow was stronger and more determined. He was unable to find flesh with his swing, but it was enough to knock Silt backwards, causing his hands to hurt with the impact from the large bladed weapon. Any plan Silt had to retaliate got stopped with the shock of blocking such a powerful swing. Kynnen also looked into the soul of Silt and found a goodness there.

Silt 80/80

Silt was shocked at the impact of the halberd, as he had been expecting to miss it. His hand vibrated and it stung, but turning the pain into a long aquainted desire to kill, he channeled his energy into defeating this drow. Thinking back to his younger years when he was once at the forefront of many a battle, Silt started wielding his swords around again, regaining his composure and waiting for the Drow to come to him, waiting, watching, staring. Silt was ready to play this one out, and strike Kynnen when the time was right.

Plaxica 29/85 and Andrion Wilgor 28/40

As the knife scratched Plaxica's leg he jumped on Andrion and landed on top of him, knocking the knife several feet away. In the next few seconds they rolled over several times, the effect of which was that both of them got greatly entangled in the net. They both threw punches at each other.

OOC: consider those punches as attack attempts.

Plaxica vs. Andrion

The two men rolling on the ground under the net were as different as night and day. Where Andrion had strength in his intgellegence and ability to conjure power magics...Plaxica was equally strong in strength, stamina, and dexterity. In other words, while these two men scrapped, there was only one man that would come out of the fight a winner for sure.

Plaxica was in the process of kicking Andrion's invisible @$$ when suddenly a ring of blue fire erupted where the invisible man was supposed to be. It burned Plaxica, making him jump back in surprise and pain. The flames also caught the net on fire.

Results:

* Andrion lost 9 HP during the brutal attack from Plaxica...who literally kicked his tail.

* Upon dropping below 50%, Contingency was activated, bringing about the Fire Shield spell.

* Plaxica was dealt fire damage as follows.
Roll(1d6)+15:
3,+15
Total: 18

* All players can now see this fire and know that this is the mage.

Skeletal Chieftan vs. Marcos

The skeleton came within range of the poor Marcos lying helpless on the ground. With no hesitation, just cold action, it let its sword fall.

Roll(2d6)+1:
4,2,+1
Total: 7
