Calaethis entered his room, and closed the door softly, so quietly that Skye didn't hear him come in. The room was dark, the way he'd left it, and he was grateful the other door was closed... He leant back against the doorway to the hall, and locked it... he sighed deeply. Suddenly he caught sight of Skye - only he couldn't see her face, only that her hair was caught... he blinked and rubbed his eyes. Cautiously, he walked over to her, and prodded her with two forefingers; seeing her hair was caught he freed it, and prodded her again. He wasn't too amused, and she could hear it in his tone. "Ehr, hello; what are you doing in my room?" he blinked as Skye lifted her head up... "Oh hello Skye... er, what brings you to my room?" he shook his head and muttered darkly; the words "bloody females" being heard more then once, and the name "Verloren" being mentioned several times. Sighing he informed Skye that they had to leave for Amn. He donned his elven chain in a darkened corner whilst Skye freed herself. He waited for her to speak...

ic:Khal ran upstairs, grumbling about 'just starting to get used to the bathing', and being chucked out by a 'bloody female'.
He ran up to Skye's room, and grabbed his blade and cloak.
(ooc:erm, Skye, what happened to Damion, I'm just gonna take it he's still asleep, as you havn't posted with him )
Khalraan woke Damion up, and shook the younger boy,
'Where'd Skye go? She was downstairs just now, I thought she came in here.'

Zachana grinned over a cup of wine,
"Well, no one knows about us except for my lady and Calaethis," she set down her wine and picked up a piece of cheese, taking a cautious sniff before grimacing and biting into it, "But plainly, I'm surprised you didn't know I was a dragon when you saw me in daylight. I mean, pure black eyes are a dead give away of a black dragon in human form, just as Lord Avalon's eyes are pure silver in his own human form," she shrugged and shifted stray pieces of hair she was sitting on out from under her.

Shadow smiles at Zachana, "Well my experience with dragons is rather limited I must say, but if they are all like you then it has been my loss." He smiles and takes a deep sip of wine, thinking that he needs it to keep calm.

Faint spots of color bloomed on Zachana's ivory cheeks,
"Well, we do try to appear non-intimidating to lower creatures," she grinned, but then looked at him curiously, "Are you sure you are well? You look rather pale,"

ooc- i didnt run out of inspiration! It was just too funny to pass up!

ic- Skye stood up hurriedly, her braid grasped tightly in her hand. She coughed nervously. "Erm, well, Tyra asked me to make sure that nothing had been forgotten in your room... and when I checked under the bed, my hair got stuck and I couldn't move or anything..." she looked at the closed door suspiciously. 'She didn't do that purposely, did she?' she thought to herself, then shrugged. "This isn't yours, is it?" she asked Cal, having recovered her self-confidence after the rather awkward moment. Skye held out the small gem, which glistened an iridescent seablue.

To her relief, Calaethis's eyes light up warmly. "That was kind of her, and of you. My thanks." He grinned suddenly, "Somehow I don't think she'd do that on purpose." his gaze met the gem, "I.. don't think thats mine... it could be though." impulsivly, he said "you keep it. then he helped her to stand up, and they were painfully close for a moment, each could feel the others breath and body heat... Calaethis said nothing but looked away embarressed

Skye's face turned a light shade of pink at the close proximity. Clearing her throat she said "Um.. thank you." Looking down, she realised that she was still holding Cal's outstretched hand. She let go hastily, the tips of her ears turning red. Afterwards, there was an indeterminable time of awkward silence..

Calaethis turned his head away and gave Skye's hand a tight squeze before dropping it."Skye, I- huh?!" Tyra knocked at the door and entered. Calaethis hastily stepped back, too hastily and tripped up. With a curse he managed not to trip up over his feet, and regain control before he fell totally over. Tyra covered her mouth with one hand and stiffled a giggle. "Oh. I'm so sorry Lord Calaethis! Are you allright?" She went over to help him up. Calaethis muttered sourly...
