Don't know the exact name of the song but its the song the "La Resistance" kids sing in the South Park movie. So I guess its written by Trey Parker and Matt Stone and performed by them as well.

Well, I think this is how this one goes, off the top of my head:

My friend bought me flowers,
She said they were lilacs,
I've never been good with plants.
Her next presentation,
A new dictionary,
She'd circled the word "romance",

So enthusiastic,
A little bit drastic,
I shaved her name in my head,
But as she beheld it,
She said I'd mispelled it,
Need more be said,

I have no clue, but the meter of the lyrics have me thinking of Kermit singing The Rainbow Connection from The Muppet Movie!

OK, well I'll tell you that the band is Canadian, but the genre they fit into is a bit hard to pin down. They do quite a lot of comedy songs, but their music is very good in its own right IMO.

Bob and Tom? Complete guess!! They are really cool, although I wouldnt imagine them singing that and they might not even be from canada (maybe just America) they're a comedy act!

Errr, no. I've never heard of them actually. The group I mean is first and foremost a normal band, they're just known for writing comical songs quite a lot. As no one seems to be able to get that one I'll put another one up and then the original will still be there for people to guess.

It's a pretty big world God,
And I am awful small,
Every day it rains down on me,
A ****** in a hail storm,

With title blanked out so its not quite so easy.
