Here is one:

No real 'correct' answer, but:

Whats the most dangerous/deadly level, and the most dangerous 50ft in EFU?

I haven't been to the sewers recently but, if memory serves, I think the answer to Mozenwrathe's question is a demon flesh construct.

Ziroc's question is a bit wider. I have to say level 14 with its clerics and Cyric worshipers is the hardest. If Implosion and Harm don't get you then IGMS, Chaos Shield, sneak attack or rust monsters probably will. And that is before meeting the Commander.

As for the most dangerous 50 ft. I reckon the trapped areas in Muriel's Gauntlet, either the pendulums or the darkened path to Muriel's Tomb. Even with improved evasion these have to be taken a step at a time.

Oh yes, while I'm on about traps, the single biggest trap may well be in the Lake of Shadows. One there took 160HP off me.

Yes, you got my answer, Greything.
====

About the most dangerous level? I would have to placed it as any fifty foot strip within Level Eight - based on a level vs. damage rating. You hit that level before you hit epic levels, and if you are not toting epic level gear at the time, most of the creatures there WILL kill you without breaking a sweat. Now, if you base it on what is currently out there total, then I would have to agree with Greything's statement of Level Fourteen. Before you face the Commander of the Cyric armies (whom is not supposed to be the strongest person we will eventually face down there), there are hordes of combinations that together will render the average adventurer dead within minutes. (e.g. rust monsters alongside Cyric Fighters and/or Priests of Cyric.) The Trollbark Dungeons and the Trollmoor Swamps people usually go in there well-prepared for what they are about to face. (Mainly from warnings from previous adventurers.) The Trollbark Dungeon, however, does give Level Fourteen a run for it's money in the form of those Lizardman Army Fighters with their Death Attacks, and the Lizardman Army Monks whom are almost impossible to hit with anything under an AB +55.

Most dangerous fifty feet would once again be similar to Greything's answer of that one set of pendulum-scythes within Muriel's Gauntlet (now that I am reminded of it). The only other place which is that deadly to the average adventurer would be around Level Fourteen close to the "dock" area (although I see no water anywhere around there) where you get to face at least three of those Priests of Cyric at the same time. Between their high ACs and their love of Implosion, one finds themselves dying quite a bit.

Largest trap... Dunno. I think the highest I have been hit for a trap was bordering on 200 HP in one shot. Largest PHYSICAL trap, however, would be in Muriel's Gauntlet (the pendulum-scythes). Largest trap that can be detected and perhaps removed... maybe within The Underground Desert in one of the secret areas. I might have seen one larger than that, but I am posting this from memory.

I don't know if it's the most dangerous 50', I think I originally coined it the most dangerous 25, but the bridge to the lizard king's hut on lvl 10, when you get the archers.

Trollmoor Swamp

An afterthought.

Mozenwrathe reminded me.

The Temple in the Trollbark Dungeon and its approach. Charge at your peril!

Got me. I just thought you may have had a flash back to what Micah posted a long while back. We had a lot of interesting posts back then about the hazards of Undermountain. Including the time the green escaped from her tower on lvl 8. That was a fun time, let me tell you.

Okay, so now that we have scared the timid, warned the realistic and made the brash think 'I can do that, no problem.....aw, crap! Aaaaaarrgghhh! Help, help me...please...anyone...?', did RTB answer the last quiz question successfully and where is the next?

*looks for an 'eager' emoticon, doesn't find one, goes for closest he can find*
