Reeka, no prob I was not expecting a reply to my mail so sonn, what with the big party and all.
Donut, YAY ! I won the prize, I won the prize ! I almost made a fool of myself two days ago starting a reply to one of your posts in the Cricket thread ... almost ... but then my suspiscious French nature told me that your posts were just a tiny bit too provocative ... so I just sat and watched ... Is there a nice somebody willing to post a digest of what happened at yesterday's big party, please, please ? Seems that I have missed a lot of cool things ... ------------------ |

When do you leave on vacation? I read somewhere that you're going.. or have you gone already? A digest of last night's party ... hmmmmmmmmmmm... it still brings a smile to my face. A grin actually. Zeeke75 had to run a 'gauntlet' of Moon's Hope Inn females to prove he was charming & Worthy enough to hold KDogRex's title of Resident Corset Loosener. He started off with LadyRae, with the Kindly The.Relic watching protectively, moved on to Reeka, then to Cloudbringer... successfully charming each & everyone, and yet keeping their corresponding beaus calm and un-jealous. Then he moved on to me and *whew* what a surprise!! I'm still flabbergasted. The bottom line tho, is that now he's also out of 'circulation' at the Inn, so we're hoping that JJ will be willing to run the gauntlet and succeed in holding that most important post. Is that concise enough for you Moiraine? (silly fun... my first RPG experience of this kind and very enjoyable) ------------------ Sometimes I think I understand everything, then I regain consciousness. OK, JJ, I will put your name before the members of the Ladies' Guild to see if it is acceptable for you to be our next victim. . . . . .I mean nominee for the post.
I will be posting a post-party post and include this in the information. Thanks Bilqis ! 2 AM is a bit too late for me and probably a lot of us Europeans ...
No, I am not yet in vacation, but I will be very busy the coming week to get everything done at work before I go, and I will depart next Saturday for a week to visit my parents, who alas have no Internet connection ... I plan to make one or two trips to the closest Internet Café, but as Yorick has already pointed out, these are VERY expensive here in France, so even there, I fear I will mostly lurk. After that, things should cool down a bit at work (I hope !). And, starting May 1st, I will no longer work on Wednesday, so as to spend more time with my son (he will go to college next year, and will need the extra time with his mother), so hopefully I will also have a bit more time to come back with a vengeance ! ------------------ |

*Zeeke appears at the top of the stairs, dressed in his usual green/brown pants and tunic. Spots his beloved bili at the table, and bounds down the stairs two at a time, then rushes over to her. Slides to one knee as he gets close, takes her hand and holds it to his heart.*
Ahh, my love! I am so sorry for the delay, but I was having this wonderful dream about a wonderful beauty of a woman, and when I awoke, I realized it wasn't a dream! *Leans forward and kisses her deeply* |

POST-PARTY ANNOUNCEMENT!!
As oficialparty-planner of the Moon's Hope Inn, I am happy to report that the party last night was a rousing. . . . . .bad choice of words. . . . . success. I think a good and fulfillin time was had by all ::I certainly enjoyed myself:: There is, however, good news and bad news. Although Zeeke very skillfully executed the run of the gauntlet, fortuntely for Lady Bilqis, unfortunately for the rest of us ladies, she stole his heart away and is now out of circulation. The Wet towel contest did not go off. . . . . sorry. . . . as planned, due to the participants and judges becoming involved in . . . . . uh. ... shall we say other activites upstairs. ::I have no knowledge if the showers were involved or not:: Therefore, the Ladies' Guild is rescheduling the Wet Towel contect for a later date. We are tentatively thinking about next weekend. If you would kindly let me know if you prefer Friday or Saturday night to attend. We want EVERYONE here. Drinks and towels will be provided by the ladies. Also, I want to let you know that JJ has put his name before the Ladies' Guild for consideration for the post of corset loosener. The Ladies' Guild will consult in private on this matter and make an official announcement and schedule a gauntlet run if deemed necessary. Thanks you. ------------------ Reeka--The Hand of Death O_H_F Lady in Waiting (the question is waiting for what?) Yes, I do get cold. That is why I need someone to warm me up.
