Glorfy!!!!! *SMOOCH* You need to come by more often, young man! Openened up the Cafe and to my delight there was your post...and another! We miss you, you know!
I'm going on a 4 day trip this weekend. My husband wants us to 'get away' a little bit and relax. Not sure how much relaxing I'll manage in four days, but I'm going to try! We've got plans to take a short dinner cruise on a local lake and then do a bit of shopping, mini-golf and hang out by the lake. It's almost the end of summer...hard to believe it went by so fast!

Hi, Glorfy. Congrats on being Jen's future hubby. We'll be watching for the invites. Jen, we went to Chili's this weekend, so, naturally, I thought of you. I had the shrimp and chicken fajitas, for a change.

Turkey isn't so bad, Cloudy...just be thankful it isn't bologna!
and Xen, 50 cent probably isn't too conductive for writing "poetry"... but just "rhyme," well I suppose it qualifies for that... I really wish I had something artsy to read...I ought to go out and buy a good book of poetry today, because I just realized how much I miss it...any suggestions? (I'm going to steer away from Shakespeare, though )

Pick up a collection of Robert Frost...I always loved his poems.

My favorite modern poets are T.S. Eliot and Wallace Stevens. Good conservate Christian poets. Then Auden. Christian, anyway. Cloudy, it was really good, with a tequila-lime rub on it.

I feel special I recommend Chili's chicken ceasar salad and chicken ceasar pita. That's all I ever get when I'm there and it's always really good!

Hey, Glorfy, I remember you! Hey, ROss, what is that in your sig?
I know what you mean, Cloudy, my summer just vanished all of the sudden, too! Never got too much into the poetry. Afraid if I read it much, I'll want to write it, lol. well, pizza's cooking, later all! |
