A cop once gave out around 500 50 dollar tickets in one day to high school students for j-walking from the highschool to the store across the street and not a damn one of us....or our parents ever payed for the ticket.

Sazerac: My vote would have been for "True" on the student/skirt story. Dh is a professor at our local University and has had that happen a couple times. He says something equally as witty as you did when it happens, and always comes home to laughingly tell me about it.
Ziroc: I would have been surprised if your story was true. Somehow I never pictured you being that sort of fellow. RudeDawg: I would have voted false because I can hardly believe someone could live through that! Learn something new every day! Caleb & Kiwidoc: Your stories are true (well, that's my vote but if I'm wrong, then I never voted, ok? ) Now for my story: I was held hostage (along with dh & 3 other men) by smugglers. There were many machine guns and hand grenades present. True or Baloney? ------------------ Having abandoned my search for truth, I am now looking for a good fantasy. Kiwidoc, your story is true. Caleb, yours as well.
Bilqis, you told the truth, too. It happened during your time with the Peace Corps in Yemen, right ? I have heard many reports that kidnappings of foreigners, fortunately almost always without violence, are kind of a popular sport there. ------------------ So long ! um, I'm voting TRUE!!! cause it would be coool to hear the story, if not, well then.... On my story: The Epilouge to the Excerpt of the Legends of the RudeDawag Don't try it folks. I'm a BIG guy, and I was in training then. I could hold more than my share of liquor. I was able to walk out of the bar, (had to, to win the bet) but I didn't make it down the block. My friends left me leaning against a nice Jeep, and walked away. It worked out. I get even MORE charming when I'm buzzed, and I convinced some coeds to take me to a party. ------------------ |
