Thank you for your reply, Bilibabe !

But something about your carefully thought up list leaves me a little puzzled: you didn't qualify if it is a) a list of how you yourself usually address other ladies or b) a list of forms of address you advice for me (and other males) to use when talking to ladies in general (in which case you should know that two of your suggestions are already reserved exclusively for a common friend of us ) or c) a list of how you yourself would like to be addressed.

Nevertheless, your suggestion of "OH beauteous One" is truly, uh, err, a beauty !

These are some of my suggestions ... (some are repeated from some of you..)

1. M'lady
2. Your Majesty
3. Oh Beauteous One
4. My Lovely
5. Delightful One
6. My Queen

well.. I'm sure you get my drift ...

Hmmmm. Well, I've tried using some of these. Let's see.
1,3,and 6. I got slapped for using #1. Laughed at for #3, and totally weirded my old gf with #6 (It didn't help that I dropped to one knee - LOL)

Seems that most women I call pet names to, prefer sweetie, if not sweetheart. Hmmm.

Dam*, I get slapped for that too. Well, I guess it doesn't help that I use that as an opening line. LOL

Oh picky picky picky... I spend precious moments thinking this over carefully and now I need to clarify it?? *sheesh* There's no pleasing some people.. I tell ya.

Actually, those forms of address were suggestions for you and other interested males to use when addressing women of all ages. You, most polite and kind spokesman sir, already do a fabulous job addressing me and I do not rate such lofty appellations as the ones I suggested. I just thought I'd encourage you men to address my sister females with the true adoration and respect they are due.
And yes, I do recall now that a couple of those you have reserved for HM LW. Sorry for that oversight.

A variation on this, is Jerome's famous ditty:

"Some things in life are eternal,
And shall never fade away,
Like my love for you fair [insert name]
Which grows stronger every day."

.... I still get slapped too though.
