Wow... I've probably got 5 or 6 years of school left right now: between the last two of college, grad school, and post-grad -- to say nothing of any special things I have to take -- I'll be in college until I'm like 30

Lucky punk you are, Drew! I have an 8:00 AM on thursdays...Calculus II recitation...ugh. Oh well, at least I learn a little bit about what I should be studying in there...less than a week til my first Calc test and my first PHY test...I have PLENTY of studying to do .

No. Actually I dont think my English prof likes me very much... SOmething about giving her a hard since I been there. I don't know what she's talking about! [img]graemlins/angel.gif[/img] Really, though, she's such a hypocrite, lol! She says she is laid-back, but goes nuts if anyone's cell phone goes off. I dont mean, like, "I don't appreciate that," I mean, "I should throw you and your cell phone out the window!" The she says she's better than the other profs about that kinda thing. Yeah right! All my other profs don't get bent out of shape at all! They just say to leave and answer it, then come back. Heh, I cracked a joke today, off of basically a joke she made, and I got a very cutting retort. Something to the effect that I wouldn't have to worry about women. Not in the connotation that I have them crawling over, mind you. I dunno, personal attacks are starting to piss me off. I'm fairly even tempered, but I am beginning to fantasize about throwing her fat-ass out the 3-story window! [img]graemlins/firedevil.gif[/img]

When I give presentations, I have a standard approach for cell phones. I explain that anyone whose phone goes off during the session is actually volunteering to buy the first round of drinks after the session. People get the message and switch to vibrate / non-intrusive mode.

Yeah, there are important calls that can come in, but how many are really that important?
