Hi, MajiK, I think a lot of people are having problems logging on. We did for quite a while, which Galadria finally got ironed out in an exchange of e-mails with Ziroc. I know for certain that Skye and LoA have had problems.

Magik,

If it's just that you can't get to the site sometimes, it's probably a DNS issue which I can resolve for you. Please PM me if you need any help.

Hey guys, check out the new sig! Shodan rules! Any volunteers to add my name to it?

Hey guys, thanks for the info, but this problem I have seems to be unique...I was trucking along fine and dandy when all of a sudden Thursday morning I lost the ability to connect. I tried going straight to the IW IP addy with the same results (a "This Page is unavailable" error) Ziroc said he had not changed anything on his end and that it must have been a local issue. I think our network weenies may have changed something and it took time to update.

Man yes its that time of the day again.... IT!! today having just learned how to operate a keyboard and use the mouse I have to design a utter crap PowerPoint presentation on Auction sites How great! So i thought id use my time more productivly and cruise the forums
Does anyone know any other big name auction sites except ebay?? cause I cant juts go having one website in my presentation but it just seems that beay has totally knocked out all the competition.
Also cannot wait to go home and continue reading the Belgeriad, Garion just got captured by the snake woman so its very tense and exciting at the mo, I didnt think id be able to read a better fantasy book better than LOTR's but it seems I have found one, there are probably many more that are even better than the Belgeriad and any suggestions as to what would be great! I prefer more action books than other types, which explains why I like Belgeriad better than LOTR's. Although the action was large when there was any, I just find that Belgeriad's is better I remember one part which has stuck with me more than anything else in any other book has, when theyre in one of the kings palace and the murgo comes in with his guards, and recogonizes Hettar, and demands (to the disliking of the king) that he be arrested for been a Murog killer, and they fight, where Hettar kills the main Murgo is most gruesome, it went something like... "he thrust his sword forward piercing the murgo in the chest and driving between the two shoulder blades, he then twisted the blade and the murgo gave a sickening shudder"
I dunno why but it stuck with me and mkaes me feel pretty sick imagining that scence "the murgo gave a sickening shudder" eurghhh horrible.

15 minuits till hometime
I realy want to get intrested in D&D too, does anyone know where I should start?? I dotn have a clue where to go, what to buy, what to read. So could someone please give me some tips on the begginers road of D&D thanks
Catch you all when I get home! (yes them two smileys are the onyl oens I know!)

Good morning, everyone.

Civilization II is one of the best! I'll leave the discussion there, else I'll wind up being moved to the "Miscellaneous Games" thread....

I watched an interesting show about secret societies on the History channel. I love conspiracies, so much so that Belle asked me "do you really believe that stuff?" No, not really. The idea that a small group of people direct the course of history and current events is fascinating, but too far-fetched to really believe. We seek order, because order is understandable; since some things that happen do not have an orderly or easily understandable cause then we "fill in the gaps". When something happens for no apparent reason and one possible explanation is that a small group manipulated events, then some folks believe that that must be the cause. This is the other side of "when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth" from Doyle.
What is really fun about conspiracies is that the lack of evidence proving that they exist is, for true believers, only more evidence that they do exist because they have been able to keep their existence secret.
