It would have been more inpressive if the lightning had struck at the very moment she prayed for it to do so. A week later and it just seems like a coincident and nothing more.
I agree but that is not the point or the question. I don't believe God struck the station because of the supposed pray. The DJ's or Station manager said that was the cause. That is the reason I put the word "Honestly" in bold type.

Of course Witches can and do call storms, just not at people , so I wouldn't lay the blame on God, but on the untapped potential of directed human will.

I would go around complaining that asking God to hurt people/property is plain wrong.
Nice attempted defelection from the question I asked I didn't ask if asking God to hurt somebody was wrong or Not I asked if you really believed God had struck your radio station would you go around complaining or change your life.
Actual that is a honest answer I gave to your hypothetical, John, not a deflection.
I completely and udderly disbeleive and reject the notion God would strike a radio station down at the request of supposed devoted followers. I reject the notion that God is willing to be petty, vengeful, or discriminaotry against homosexuals. In my mind the God described above doesn't exist. Why would I either complain or change my life because of something that I think is non-existant/imaginary?

According to what I think of God, praying to strike down people/radio stations that are pro/gay should be compained about, that is all.
Then you did not answer the question, the question was if you HONESTLY believe that God struck the station what would your reaction be. Since you don't HONESTLY believe God would do that you can not answer the question.

Ya, your right. I answered a different question that wasnt asked.
That's ok Chewie the reason I ask question is to make people think, I don't care what they think as long as they think.

The problem is lots of people run off at the mouth on their feelings and not their thoughts, (I'm not saying you were). The DJs/Station manager made their statments only to invoke an emotional reaction. Not to invoke thinking, but rather feeling, as to weither there is a God or not. Logic dictates that if you believe (which is a thought process not a feeling) that if you are on the otherside of an issue from an Omnipotent being you are foolish to continue on that course.

The same thing is happenning here in Alabama with Judge Moore, both sides are getting their panties in a wad when the issue will be decided in the next election for ONLY 4 years. And the way we go through our State officials here in Alabama next time we may vote for the Anti-Christ Lord we elected that lying idot democrat Segielman, just to turn around and elect that lying idot republican Rilley.

Just to expand on the concept of praying for God to injure or harm someone..the Bible explicitly directs Christians to do just the opposite. We are to pray for blessings on our enemies rather than harm. This is mentioned in the O.T. and N.T. both.

Proverbs 25:
[21] If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat;
and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink;
[22] for you will heap coals of fire on his head,
and the LORD will reward you.

Romans 12:
[19] Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God; for it is written, "Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord."
[20] No, "if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals upon his head."
[21] Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

So the Old Testament says to pray for blessing for your enemy and the New Testament states it again, almost word for word.

Just one of the many examples of the Bible being consistent from beginning to end.

Well the OT text actually doesn't talk about wishing your enemy well but rather about taunting him. Taunting may be the wrong word but basically it says: "If you answer evil with good, evil will be mad because it failed to create more evil"

Paulus quotes the OT text preceded with a statement that justice is a matter of god not of man.

So IMHO these two verses don't call you to really wish your enemy well like many NT verses actually do opposing to quoted OT texts.

MT 5:43-44
43 You have heard that it was said, You shall love your neighbour and hate your enemy.' 44 "But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

while Deuteronomy 23 (concerning Ammonites and Moabites) tells
You shall never seek their peace or their prosperity all your days.
