*sigh* I do NOT mind fat people. It's just that something that might make me not choose a girl no matter how great her personality was was if she was so hugely fat that she couldn't fit through doors! Slightly overweight, no problem, mountain of fat? Problem.

That is very generous of you Neb.

Let's get back on topic, shall we?

Looks will always be the first thing that will attract you to a girl, and I do think that they will always play a part in helping to determine chemistry.

But depending on what you are looking for (relationship or casual) then other facets of someone's persona might become more important. My ex-girlfriend was a model and I won't deny that the first thing that attracted me to her was how she looked on a dancefloor, I probably wouldn't have noticed her otherwise. BUT her looks weren't what caused us to be together for just under two years, a year and a half of which we were on separate continents. The distance eventually killed it off, unfortunately.

Physical attractiveness can eventually fade in your mind's eye, but the beauty of a person's soul has the potential to grow infinitely more beautiful with time. And no, I didn't get that quote from Shallow Hal.

Mems, the right one is out there.. LOL guess you just have to do more 'hunting'

For me, looks are a basic but it really is the PERSON inside that I end up being attracted to or repelled by. If you are the most drop-dead gorgeous guy but haven't a romantic bone in your body and don't know the meaning of honesty... forget it.. I'm not hanging around long!

Aggh! Hate to hear that Mem... just hate to hear that.. sorry

Anyways yeah, maybe distance can really stretch out that line between you and her so fine already that it just broke apart... but then here, I am indeed close to 'her', and if distance can kill.. why can't she just go away?
