Apart from that a pretty regular day.

Today is the day when I shall take over the world with my pancake friends and defeat Dr Sheep. Oh wait, that was yesterday. Damn my busy tuesdays, I didn't get to this thread until too late!

As for my day, it was a complete right-off. Last night I went out for a friends birthday and ended up spending £50 on alcohol... my head... help... LoA would have been proud of me last night I tell you that. Although I was in a club so I stayed away from beer, which probably explains the expense caused.

But seriously to all the underage people in here - drinking that quantity of alcohol is not pretty. I am in some ways lucky that we ended up in a club where they blatantly water down the spirits slightly as otherwise I would probably have either thrown up over everyone, or ended up in hospital. Really, really, not funny this morning, even if it seemed like a good idea at the time. I was so drunk I gave my guitar plectrums to a homeless man as I didn't have any change.

Bah, no pancakes then.

It sounds like you should be giving alcohol up for lentl; £50 in one night - at least you can remember it. Respect though, it wasn't long ago that I considered spending £20 in one night heavy going (this was university campus prices though).

Hmmmm... how do you get service in this place;

Garçon!!

Hi Jab! Hi everyone here!

I just got back from Church, it being Ash Wednesday and all. It is miserably cold out here, too!

*perks up fresh coffee, fresh pots of tea and hot chocolate and brings out the scones and jam* I think we need a nice cozy chat and Barry needs some coffee!

The mystery god of cocktails took away a fair amount of my money. Also if you ever find yourself in Covent Garden:

DON'T GO IN ANY BARS!!!!!

That is the secret to avoiding spending £50 in one sitting.
