Here is something I just noticed. When you are posting a message, and are done typing and reading what you typed before you hit the "Reply" button, and just say, you want to add a smiley somewhere? Does not work. The smiley appears at the bottom of the paragraph, cannot insert it in the middle of your paragraph. So insert smileys as you go!

I noticed the same thing trying to do BOLD
words, you have to cut and paste them. Kind of a
pain in the rump. At least it is running faster than it has been the last day.

I like the Instant UBB Code boxes below the reply window. And the reply window is to small, I agree, Ziroc!

you want your sig to be smaller?

2 questions.

1. 250 changed his publicly displayed name to DM of FAoIW. He is now unable to change it back. I assume this feature was disabled. Will it be re-enabled? I'd like to change mine to "KingDutka" to match my AOL screen name, e-mail adress, and my registered username at the other forums.

2. Why can't we use parenthesis in html posts? My customary glowing text is no longer viewable without it. I love my glowing text. Now all you see is blue letters. I'm not even using that if I can't glow.

ROFL!! I knew this was going to bite someone in the ass sooner or later. I don't know if this can still be done now - I imagine that Ziroc would have to turn the feature back on again, wait for 250 to change it, then turn it back off again. I doubt if it's as easy as turning a light switch on and off.

250's best bet is to email Ziroc and ask VERY nicely.

Actually, I'm not sure he wants to change, but I do. I already e-mailed Ziroc though.

Wow, shiny new board. Wonder how long before we break it?

Can we still do all the old smileys?

A problem for me is that the reply to box takes far too long to display - there are just too many graphics on the page and the browser hates it. Fortunately it doesn't seem to give me the same level of problem that I get over at Mithril Hall (I can't post because the reply to page is so graphics heavy that my browser crashes) but it is still very slow.

I'm sure it looks very nice, but could it be 'trimmed down' a bit for those of us with slower modem dial-up connections and older browsers (that we can't upgrade because they are on a work PC!!)

In the time it's taken me to type this, there are still graphics loading.

On the whole it looks good, I'll let you know if I have any more problems!

I have a feeling that these speed problems are due to the forum not being "tweaked" yet. It was REALLY slow earlier tonight for me, it was taking about a minute for a page to load on my ADSL, but it's a lot quicker now.
