"At least you know what is right, Larry." ~ she sighs heavily ~ "I've recently begun to have serious doubts about my own judgement in this area... I am finding out that life is not as clear-cut as I imagined it to be." ~ She strokes Isabeau's plush feathers as the hawk stalks over to her side protectively.~

~I'm trying my best to hang on down here, Father and Mother; I hope you can see that... Kaz is now under my care and I've got a familiar whom I'm sure will soon prove useful... if there is anything else important that I should be doing, please... send me a sign soon... ~ Thinking, she lapses into a silence. ~

"Life is never clear-cut," Kaz says earnestly. "How do you know that your father wishes you to journey, Larry? I would like you to stay with us, and I do not doubt that my sister feels the same..." looks at Mistral, who blushes. "Also, Avatar needs you to help run the Temple, I believe."

Perhaps we can get her acquainted with your raven so that she has a feathered friend of her own... it would also be good for them to meet so that she would not mistakenly hunt the wrong creature for food." ~ Cheeks burning, she nevertheless manages a weak smile. ~

~ "My dearest sister, I hope I am not pushing you too much... I have seen your unhappiness for many a while now, and hope you can share with me your troubles. I hate to think that as a sister, I do not even know what is bothering you. And it grieves me that I cannot help you because of this. Won't you tell me just a little about your fears?" ~ her eyes glisten with hope as she gazes into Kaz's eyes ~
