My problem is that Andrion rolled exactly at the same moment as Plaxica shifting, but I'll get a Plaxica post done now.

In my post for Plaxica I put that Andrion managed to finish his spell, mostly due to the golden powder irritating Plaxica's sensible nose.

There's my post. I hope it will do to keep you all fed for a while, so that I can have my next class then go home and have dinner.

After that, I'll be back to see what more is ready to be done.

Is everyone having fun?

Man...I cannot wait until you all start fighting NPCs again.

yes, the powder is part of his thieves kit, I also used it to find that trap a while back if I remember. Also it would have passed through the mirrored images as well proving them as false since they are aonly projections and not solids.

Weapons with reach have penalties when someone is within one unit from you? Didn't know that one. Oh, and if I do want to take off the man's head off, I'll, with the new info you gave me, take a fie-foot step back and use the halberd without the penalties and provoked attacks.

EDIT: I'm feeling especially evil What kind of weapon does Marcos have(I don't need specs, just the general type), and can I take it from him now? And Larry, how fine do you judge weapon proficiencies? When making my character, I treated the weapon proficiencies in detail, meaning falchion and greatsword use different proficiencies. In some editions, they're both two-handed swords, so I'm askin how you see them?

He's holding his warhammer, and if you can pry it from his stunned fingers, he'll want it back when you're done

Well, there's a bitter ending for a noble creature. Atleast I got to play a part in the destruction of the Hunger in the previous forum.

Let's stop the action for a moment with regards to a spell that has been cast twice. Stun.

We need to examine it.

Now, I know that this is sounding like just another rule that is getting slammed in here all the sudden, but this is an important one.

If you were to get stunned in real life...what would you look like? You would be maybe unconscious, or laying on the floor and drooling, or if you were strong you might be able to wiggle on the floor a bit. Being stunned, as I have recently discovered, is not about being a paralized immobile statue. I also feel that mental capacity would be limited.
We can let the already made posts stand as is, however.

Forget the BGII gaming graphics that was unsuccessful in providing us with a decent animation of what a stunned person looks like.

Let's play this the right way, now that we know what Stun is. And to answer the previous question...yes, it would be easy to disarm a stunned man.

I apologize "again" for not being a good enough DM to have an error-free game. I will make mistakes and obviously, so will all of you.

Let's get back in there and kill each other the right way now!

Git'r done!

I feel that I should address the death of Arcades. Let this be a warning to the remaining players that anyone could get killed, and lose their character here. I have lost my own characters, and Morgie loses one like every dang month, so he knows what I am talking about.

About Arcades. Let me address this straight to you. You did not seem as committed to this game as you were in the previous one. Your posts were no comparison to the quality and time other people on this thread were putting into theirs, and you were breaking alot of standards. For a long time, I had been looking the other way until that last post where you got to Tao too fast after not being around for a while, not knowing much about what was going on. That too was easily overlookable.
This is where you went terribly wrong, and since everybody on this forum knows this one rule, I could not allow it to go any further.

Never take control of the DM's NPCs.

When you decided to place the Banewolves at your feet, I had to lay you at theirs by requesting the owner of those wolves to finish you off. Never was it my intention to bring you into harm that fast, and so it appeared to me that you were asking for it. I had to deliver.

I hope this will not cause you to leave the forum. The RPG forum needs every member it can get. Losing one PC will hopefully not dampen your desire to have fun and play online with us again sometime.

Anyway, that is the way it goes in RPGs, and I hope that your lesson serves as a reminder to the others that people lose their characters in games. Nobody is immortal.

Coincidence?

One helluva plot twist?

You certainly have my attention.
