“I'm not!” Protested Aeriah, mock glaring in mock-annoyance. “Now, be nice." he added, his tone as parental as any Jena had ever heard.

“You need more exercise, young lady." The elf continued, chiding her, “You can begin with pushups; give me a dozen, now. Go!" His amusement betrayed his stern tone, the light in his eyes dancing, full of humour. His tone, however, was stern and commanding, though, Jena knew, he didn't really mean it... she hoped...

"One handed? Very well!" Without breaking a sweat, Jena seemed to ease through her one-handed push-ups effortlessly. "Huh? How about that?! Fours years worth of climbing trees and swimming hard!" Giggling, Jena stuck her tongue out briefly as she pulled her shirt sleeves up, flexing her arm muscles at Aeriah.

Aeriah merely snorted, admiring her form as she bobbed up and down. In a disdainful tone, he added “Only four? I'm disappointed... ”

His hand flashing out, in a snake-like speed, the elf caught her tongue with his fingers and asked, “Sorry? I can't hear your bragging - your tongue seems to be stuck." smirking, he gave her a playful shove, knocking her backwards onto her behind and nn an effort to outdo her, Aeriah demonstrated the same - on two fingers and thumb.

“How was that, hmm?"

Then his rich, warm laughter filled the tent and he hugged her tightly.

Jena gazed into Aeriah's eyes, her warm smile brightning the tent's interior.

"Aeriah, I Love You."

Before he had a chance to respond, Jena leaned forward and wrapped her arms around Aeriah's neck and leaned gently against him.

Turning her head ever so slightly, she whispered in his ear..

"Now everyone should be up...we've certainly been loud enough. I'd be surprised if anyone was still asleep after all the commotion we've caused."

silently, Jena nuzzled Aeriah's cheek with her warm, soft lips.

Artelm woke the next morning, and abruptly stood up, giving Able a shake and deciding that he might aswell try and iniate some contact with him...afterall he didn't have much else going for him right now. He noticed in his own observant way that there seemed to be some partnerships forming. Maybe he should make a little partnership of his own, although not in the same depth. It seemed no-one wanted to know him after his failed contact with Aeriah.

"Able...wakey wakey...it's time to get moving, I think Aeriah is anxious to get going. I haven't really spoken to you much since we met...but I am quite intrigued by the events of yesterday; how did you manage to make that fire? That was quite a neat little trick."

Artelm was quite interested in this event, but he really just wanted something to spark up (excuse the pun) a conversation.

Blinking, the elf did not respond for a moment, his arms hanging at his sides, before, gradually, and gently, they rose, wrapping the girl in his own tight embrace, squeezing her softly. As they caressed her back, Aeriah's head fell to her shoulder, even as her lips brushed his cheek, and the first of his tears began to fall. Silently, he wept into her hair, the warm liquid trailing down to the sensative skin of her neck, instantly alerting her to the elf's soundless sobs.

Kyr had made herself scare, giving the two some privacy. No one had noticed the little pixie depart...

Jena closed her eyes as Aeriah embraced her tightly. His hands gently caressed her back in response to her previous heartfelt statement. As she felt his warm tears on the back of her neck, she tenderly pressed her lips against his ear and whispered, ever so softly and gently.

"I am sorry, Aeriah. I did not mean to cause you sadness....If you prefer me to not speak those three words until...well..maybe...after you regain your memories, then I will abide by your wishes."
