ooc- Iron_Ranger, would you mind using a different colour? black on brown is a bit difficult to see 'preciate it much ^-^
hn, shadow, would Skye get any info? she's not exactly a thief..

ic- Skye turned the key to her room in the lock with a sigh. 'FINALLY be able to see the inside.. Starshadow didn't seem to like his all that much, but hopefully I'll enjoy mine a little better. Must ask him for a copy of those maps, might be some interesting passages somewheres,' she mused to herself as she stepped inside. Snapping her fingers, she used her dancing lights spell, causing small different coloured lights to appear and float about the room. She gave an appreciative nodd when she noticed that the dragon theme of the door was continued in the furnishings of her room. There was a medium sized canopy bed in one corner, carved into the shape of a sea serpent out of oak, and at the foot of it was an old ornate chest. The room also contained a desk, a few chairs, a delicate armoire, a closet, and through a door, a marbled bathroom. There was plush carpeting and many expensive baubles and art about the room, and the curtains in the windows and sheets on the bed were made out of fine materials. "A bit ornate for my taste, but nothing too bad with it," she commented aloud. "At least there's mostly blues, purples, and greens in here... be terrible if it didn't match. Then it would just look gaudy." Skye glanced about, deciding which items she wouldn't need.

Picking up the sack of baubles that she didn't want in her room, Skye started to trundle off in the direction of the treasury. "It's not like I'm in need of money, so I don't have to sell this lot off. Besides, it was given to me in good faith, so it would go against my ethics to sell it. Better to just return it," she said aloud to herself, and thought about the irony of returning the goods to a thief in good faith. Chuckling a little to herself, she kept on.

ooc: Skye, is it possible to get a word in edgewise with a bard? Just kidding. And don't steal my color on this thread.

Starshadow put a hand to his head while sighing. "I expect that my group will have a planning session before we head out. I expect we'll get maps of the place as well as guard info and such...?" He looked around. "Shadow, send all the relevant information to my room, and have the rest of my group come to my room about an hour after the info arrives. Tell everyone to knock first, else they'll end up with a nasty surprise." He turned to the newest comer, an assassin. "If you're coming with me, then you'll have some time to find your room and get acquainted with the castle a little bit. We always have need of quality lookouts." He looked to Leeta next. "What kind of skills do you have for us to use?"

Leeta found a chair and sat, hooking one leg over the chair's arm and leaning to the side. "I'm best at searching...for people or things. Love combat though, if it comes to that," she said, casually picking at the fingernails on her left hand with a dark blue feathered dart. With a smirk on her face, she looked Starshadow up and down. "Just where am I needed most?"

"i would be happy to join your group, i have had experience in tracking, and can alert you if needed, also i can climb walls easily enough" arune did not care for rooms, he lived life constantly moving, never staying in one place for too long. maybe having a place in this guild might not be so bad he thought to himself.

ooc- now now, dont interrupt private conversations us bards like to talk to me, myself, and i we dont talk ALL the time... why else do you think we're good at getting information?

im not stealing yer colour, im just "borrowing" it. just like thieves like to "borrow" things, heheh. you can tell our threads apart 'nyways, cuz i use 3 colours- skyblue when talking aloud, orchid when thinking (does too much of that, i think ) and the normal colour for everything else

ooc: Bards get information because people don't think they can listen while their doing all that yapping. Private conversation? I didn't know a bard could hold one. Oh, this is just too fun.

And leave my color alone.

Starshadow nodded to both Leeta and Arune. "I don't know how to put your skills to use yet, but I will once I get the info on our target. So have a look around the place, find a room, and in a little while, find one of those ever-present goblins to show you to my room. Do not try to open the door yourself unless you'd like a nasty surprise. Shadow, I expect to get my information in an hour."

With that, the elf left the room. With a wave of the nad to close his cloak, he disappeared into the shadows and headed toward his room. If he found any goblins near his room, they would regret it. "I don't trust those damn things, and I have a feeling it's for a good reason."

edit: Ooh, I'm at 800 posts! Yay for me!
