Ferji, as you were turing, you heard the smaller orc's club swooshing behind you, and you managed to deflect an attack in front of you face. The big orc ran at you, his giant sword crossed over your head, and missed terribly, but his knee cap slammed into Ferji's side, and knocked him over.

Ferji stumbled out of the way, barely holding his sword and balance. The big orc lifted his sword hand out-wide with a roar (blood spilling out of his mouth), and his elbow slammed into the face of another orc, who shriked and dropped simutanesouly. Then came the expected blow, the big orc crunched his fist (with sword in hand) heavily at Ferji. and the other standing orc shouted victoriously "YES!!"

OOC: Ouch! Poor guy, at least he didn't trip and impale himself on his sword
And where's the rest of the party, now

IC: Ferji

Ferji could vaguely see the outline of the big orc through the haze of pain. He knew that, with the orc getting a 'lucky blow' in, he'd have a hard time recovering and fighting his way out. No, this was a time to be cunning. Fragments of Littleman's many adventures shot through his mind. That was one cunning halfling. Unfortunately for Ferji, in his current state he was unable to adapt any of them to match the situation.
So he did the only other thing he could think of. The halfling laborously climed back to his feet, never a moment taking his eyes of the boss. As he slowly rose, his left hand searched the ground for something to throw, a small rock or maybe a handful of sand.

OOC: I'll stop here. Ferji'll want to throw whatever you decide he finds at the orcs and try for the tent again, but I can imagine the orc boss may decide to advance and strike again rather than wait for the halfling to find his footing, or some of the other characters might step in.

OOC: If this was in RL, I would have shook my head and signalled to Sennid that it was time to go home where we would give Ferji a proper mourning over several rounds of drinks.

Robin Clym

Sigh... in the Gods' names, tonight was definitely not one of his better nights. When Robin saw that Ferji was not going to have an easy time escaping the brutal Orcs, he decided to abandon any hope of the current plan and rescue the halfling first instead.

Signalling to Sennid to go forward, Robin indicated a pincer attack where he will flank from the left, while Sennid flank from the right. As Robin ran forward as fast as he could, he saddled his longbow and quickly took out his quarterstaff. Approaching the nearest of the Orcs who were distracted by Ferji, he slammed the tip of the quarterstaff as hard as he could into the back of its' knee joint.

The big orc was on a berserk frenzy, he attacked everything he saw or in his way. You were not in a parry combat here

Ferji, Robin

The beast smashed the butt-end of his sword into the tumbling halfling again, and roared angrily as the hafling twisted out of the way. The barbed fist still shoved Ferji off balance, but he managed to hold on to his sword, and a handful of dust n sand.

The orc roared once more, and lifted his gigantic sword high above his head. He cleaved down heavily, but jerked suddenly and toppled on his right knee, a move that brought himself down at eye level with the halfling. The halfling grinned, a painful task, then he smacked his handful of dust on the orc's face. The orc howled and was caught off-guard by the unexpected turn, and he rubbed his eyes in a frenzy. At the same moment, another crunch landed on the orc's back, who protested with a groan, nearly fell over the halfling.

"Dieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee", Robin, you heard a wild war cry, as an orc came out of no where trying to sneak on you. Robin turned in time to see a club-wielding orc charging towards him, waving and cursing all the while. The other orc, one that was dropped by the orc leader's punch, was getting up on his feet, but still slightly dazed and confused.

Sennid

As your two friends were tangling in a battle of life and death, you sneaked silently upon the lone orc that was unsure what to do. Too caught up by the spectacle, the orc never heard you coming...

A small tinge of excitement inched up your spine, as you sneaked closer and closer to your intended prey. "You are mine!" Sennid silently snickered, and the slight tremor of thrillness affected her usually steady stabbing manuver.

"Damn!" Sennid hissed inwardly as the orc moved unexpectedly (purely out of luck) and her dagger stabbed into the air. The orc yelled in surprise and jumped around to fend off the sneaky rogue's next attack, only to catch a dagger straight in the gut. Gasping horroribly, the orc pushed and punched his heavy club, and his other hand went to held the openned wounds.

Sennid darted gracefully out of the clumsy swings, and out-manuvered the wounded orc easily. The orc's next back hand swung left himself open, and Sennid wasted no time to step in and stabbed a vital hit on the orc's shoulder blade. The dagger bited deep into the flesh, and she heard the satisfying sound of blade severing bone-joint. The orc yelled in terror, but the sound caught in his throat and turned into a painful gagging. Blood poured out of his open mouth, with hot smelly breath, and his club lay lifelessly by his feet. His only free hand went up and down then up again, not sure which wound to cover this time.

OOC:
Sennid, you are still helding on the dagger against the orc, who is dying fast.

btw, in case you ask, Sennid, critical miss

Skye

You heard shouts and promises of death erupted suddenly in the camp. Against the campfire, you saw sinister figures bashing each other, weapons and fists alike flying.

Ferji

With the big orc temporarily blinded and panicing because of it, the bruised halfling lifted his sword. With the orc's hands clawing at its eyes, Ferji thought he had clear access to the beast's armpits. He knew that if he could make a cut there, the bleeding would be nigh unstoppable. His other option was running for the tent, but the little man had a feeling that was no longer what was desired of him. So he struck.

Ferji's sword landed heavily on the orc's shoulder, right next to the neck, and the force nearly cleaved the head. There was no howling, only a continued gagging and rattling. Several bursts of warm blood washed over the halfling, and his face, armor and arms were quickly dyed into a reddiss color. The orc's hands held over his own neck desperately, no longer bearing a weapon. He struggled to stand, but shook dizzely and collapsed on his knees, falling face down unconciously. A dark red pool quickly formed beneth him

The orc stopped cold as he witnessed his bigger friend's death. Immediately, he threw away his club and fled at full speed.

"Huh" came a confused question, as the orc that was dropped by his own leader earlier finally managed to get a footing.
