Module is looking good. But we could use more help. To people who have already signed up; don't forget to drop by our board occasionally.

I wanna join, I wanna join. I suck at scripting, but I can handle story line work, and dialog editing, etc. My email is registered, and I have yahoo, and icq messengers, can't use my Windows messenger, see Gen Con for the reasons. I submitted a join request to the Bioware Guild site. Let me know if that would be a help or not. Night.

Hey, welcome aboard!

Is it MSN giving you problems or the built-in Windows messeneger? AKAIK they are two seperate things. we have been using MSN, but I'm happy to get yahoo if it will help.

Your guild request has been accepted, feel free to post any questions or requests there or here. If you have a storyline/quest idea, feel free to submit it and we will see about making it come to life! Keep in mind we are building for characters level 1-10 and it is multi-player oriented.

The idea came up recently to work towards doing a series of smaller stories/quests first, then add a big main storyline how it fits, that way the creative work for stories will get spread out amongst everyone willing. So if you have story/quest ideas they are more than welcome!

For all i know, this may have already come up, but a good idea would be to have plot items for the main quest drop in all or some of the little quests, to kind of build anticipation. Will this be a persistent world, with quest tokens to keep track of what's been done? I've got a few thoughts along the lines of what was laid down here earlier, concerning the drow thing, that I think would make the plot more believeable. I think some one said a couple of hundred years of darkness, but why not do it like Alaska, with around 6 months of darkness, that would give an organized force more than enough time to move on the village, and have we chosen a name? I'm not sure how that would go over, but it was a thought that occured to me last night, while I was reading through the posts here. Chewy, we can try the MSN messenger, I disabled the other one, and so far, no ads. Since I am the system administrator here, better be, it's my computer at home, lol, I'll just pass any admin messages on to me. My handle is robert_bard@hotmail.com, but I use my yahoo address for e-mail. Thanks guys, I hope I can contribute something worth while to this module.

I have also created a Guild at Bioware's site, and posted in the Forum to let others know that Escape from Undermountain exists. Some folks play nothing BUT posted/announced mods, so I covered that.

Hey, check the story forum over at the guild, it has a great overview of the the long darkness storyline that further expands on the ideas posted earlier on this thread and addresses your ideas about using plot items to build the plot and move the story along.

As far as a name for the village, it appears we are going ahead with Frostgate as the working name. That hasn't been set into stone though. Do you have any
ideas?

Not really, no. But I was going to start putting some story lines together, and a name would be cool. Could do it like in IWD2 with the sword, heart of CHARNAME, just put in the generic. But Frostgate is cool, doh, that would really be a bad pun, if intended, lol

I saw your announcment at NW Vault.

You may wanna consider putting a link to the NW Vault page in the EFU forum so the Team IW members know where to go to rate it and leave glowing comments.
