Glorfis! *hugs*
My dad bought a new TV that we picked up today. It's a 56 inch samsung...something. Not as thin as a plasma (and about 2/3 the cost!) but half the width of the 65 incher we replaced it with, I can't remember what it's called. LDT or something similar. Pretty nice, except our living room looks weird without the big cabinets we had for the 65er. My bro bought the old TV off my dad and got the cabinets for free, lucky guy. Ooooh Phil wants to play the "rub it in" game huh? Well, I'll be enjoying myself in Whistler this January while you cook in Christchurch, muahaha

And for me, I can take or leave the water. I enjoy it, but unlike some people I'm married to, I can't seem to find a way to just sit out in the sun at the beach. I have to be doing something... anything...
The pillows! Of course! Brilliant maneuver, Bungleau! That's a really good tip for parents on long car rides, along with bringing tons of things for them to do to keep from being bored. I hear you on the not sitting still thing, my husband can't do that...he's got to have a book or something to occupy him if he's waiting even ten minutes. If he doesn't, he rapidly becomes the world's best drummer of whatever is nearby.

LOL...and here I thought it WAS annoying! He will fidget with whatever is at hand. He drums on books, my purse, the table, whatever is around... so there's a whole band in there someplace, huh? I'd never have guessed... I once asked him if he ever sits quietly and just listens to the birds, his own thoughts, whatever....he said not usually. Apparently sitting still with nothing to do was a punishment when he misbehaved as a child! LOL Hmm, maybe you should try THAT on the kids next time they act up, Bungleau!
