Sorry to disagree about the "No Kosher Pork" comment.
Pork = Pig = Ham and there is for sure kosher ham and kosher sausages.

Sorry to burst your bubble Wurm...but you are wrong. There is no such thing as Kosher Ham because, as several people have pointed out, Pork isn't kosher. I've asked this question before of several Jewish folks I know and this is what I was told. "If you see something in the store labeled as 'Kosher Ham' or 'Kosher Sausage' then rest assured it's NOT pork. It's probably turkey." Sorry for the OT: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Freakin hilarious. Where can I get one? I guess I'm just one of the insensitive folks who doesn't give a bloody damn if we insult a bunch of terrorists. Sue me.

More on the Kosher comment:
Sorry to you followers of Judaism, but... As a vegetarian, the Kosher process, i.e. letting the animal bleed to death in a slow and painful manner, is cruel and unusual. Drag out your old testament if you like, I find this practice reprehensible. I know I'm alone on this one, but just gotta say it anyway. And before the peanut gallery chimes in, No this is not the way all meat is processed. There are equally horrible things done in the factory farming and slaughterhous arena, and those are a different (yet related) topic. |

"...in Norway, where shechitah has been banned since 1930, one of the parliamentarians said straight out, 'If they don't like it, let them go live somewhere else.'"

I also believe to be Kosher the animal must not be mistreated. In so much as it has to be killed, this is a less painful method than most. |
