I can't follow it closely, unfortunately. That's all from looking at the rosters, and prior knowledge. We get less football coverage than you probably get NHL coverage. It's sad, because I really enjoy it, but what can you do.

Chelsea's also talking about Roberto Carlos, Ricardo Quaresma and this entire John Obi Mikel situation. I think they're starting to buy just to buy, rather than improve the squad, which is just ridiculous.

I (and a number people) think that's why they bought Ballack, so Man Utd can't have him.

Well i don't understand why our team plays against Luxemburg, either. I think the only reason why the trainer hasn't been kicked yet, is because it is so close to the WM.

Why don't they buy the entire team of Barcelona ? Perhaps they might actually win a European cup then. And maybe they could contract Barcelona's fans as well, they're women are much prettier.

Chelsea didn't buy Ballack. They got him for free.

Errrr..yeah, that is unless you forget the multi million deal he signed for, or did you think he wants to play for Chelsea because they're such a jolly bunch of friendly people ? If Abramovich ever decides to drop his Chelsea hobby, the club will be in so much debt, they won't even have the right to exist anymore. Not that i care mind you.

Bah good point. Well at least I got the team and player right

Chelski will be royally buggered when Abramovich leaves/runs out of money/whatever.

Now that'll be fun to watch

In defence of Chelsea, they haven't (as they could have) just built a team of individuals and Mourhinio has fashioned his players successfully into a unified side. Players have also improved significantly under him like Terry and Lampard.

Terry and Lampard haven't improved because of mourinho, they have improved because of the talented players surrounding them (read: the big bag of cash Abramovich brought with him).
