*shakes head*

Felix, you've already got a system that *THEY* are drooling over, and you're looking at a replacement?

BTW, the $75 CPUs and $49 motherboards are down here in the "50%" range...

My motherboard cost $90, I think...my CPU $180 .

The computer market is CRAZY nowadays. A person has to pay insane amounts of money to get a MODEST increase in power.

I'm happy with that, especially since in a couple of months I'm getting a new CPU and Graphics card. Good thing I challenge it with the intensive graphics of BGII and NHL: Eastside Hockey Manager.

Mine would be up there with Dace's, but I get the same message as Hive saying some of my hardware is unsupported or something stupid like that.

Felix - interested to know what A64 CPU you've got running at 3300mhz...? Opty by any chance?

Also, you just talked about upgrade, why would you want to upgrade if you had a 3.3ghz processor already, chances of getting another beauty like that are quite slim, no point wasting the money on an FX60! As for 4gbs RAM - un-needed really in todays apps, unless you're running a few strenuous tasks, and you already have the best ATI card out there, what would you be upgrading to? Double 512mb GTX's - that would be more expensive. Cross Fire's not woth a look yet.
