Yeah good luck on that ebay thing. I've had a bad experience the last 2 bids I've won. It's really turned me off for a while. I strongly recommend only buying from "Power Sellers".

Look out Hive, I started using Ebay some time ago, so far I have been burned on 2 items I bought, thankfully I only buy cheap items so it's not a big loss.

Anyway, don't you guys hate it when you wake up at your usuall time to go to work or school and then realise you have a day off... and can't go to sleep again, because your body is sure you are suppoesed to be at work... grmbl...

I'm having a "minor discussion" with the last person I bought something from. He's mad because I gave him neutral feedback... which I gave because after asking for payment, he never responded to any of my emails or questions. Never bothered to let me know the item was shipped or anything. I was at the point of calling eBay and reporting a non-delivered item when it suddenly appeared at my door.

Had another issue where a seller didn't bother to communicate very well. I ended up sending emails to three different addresses (garnered through ebay and other means) to make sure they knew that I knew where they were. The product was eventually delivered, but I'd never buy from them again.

Then again, I've got a few items I'm watching that I'd like to pick up...

Sneaky ebay trick: don't bid on something when you find it. Wait until it's getting close to the end of the auction, and then bid. It's called sniping, and may not be considered fair (and I didn't like it when someone did it to me), but it can get you things at a much lower price.

Yeah, Lord knows things like that happen at real auctions, especially antiques and real estate. Those people are as serious as a heart attack.

LOL Bungleau, seems everyone snipes now on E-bay, so not sure if sniping is much of the advantage it used to be anymore. LOL, how successful have you been overall sniping?

Man it is actually hot here today. I wanted spring but I'm not all that fond when the weather goes from the low 60s to 85 LOL. Nobody's used to it so it just feels that much hotter, versus in the summer when 85 feels like a lovely day!

I am a failure.

I got my butt kicked about 40 minutes ago. Give or take a few. I really never took it seriously. It all started when I recieved a message on AIM. I didn't know who it was. Turned out to be a guy who'd I've had bully problems with for awhile. He threatened me, called me a fatass, a lot of other stuff. I just blew it off. He called me and threatened me. Then he said he was going to come over. I said go ahead. I didn't think he was serious. He was. I went outside and fed my dogs, did my chores. Just did the usual chores. I saw him pull up, he called me out. He's a sophomore. I made the mistake of trying to tackle him. Great. Now he can call self-defense. Anyway, he eventually got me on the ground, had me by the throat. "I've had 2 chances to break your nose. Now you can end this now or I'll do it." He tightened his grip on my neck. "Why are you doing this?" "I don't like people talking shit about me." "Go ahead and go."

About this time my neighbor came over and chased him off. I can't thank him enough for that. It really meant something to me. Anyway, he drove off and I went and told my mom. I'll be fine, I just got a nice lump on my forehead and small cut above my eye. I didn't really get any hits in. I got my butt whooped.

He's my mom's best friend's son too. Funny thing is I never said anything about the guy. His hits didn't hurt me physically, but I've lost a bit of my own dignity. I didn't cry out of pain or anything, I just cried because I'm disappointed in my loser self. Seeya. Church calls.

Hey Someguy do not feel bad the guy sounds like a jerk. Just go get a big group of friends and tackel him at night and place some door knobs in a pillow case and beat the living crap out of him. Just do not forget to wear ski masks.

You remind me of the first fight that I had. I got a good old ass whiping. I ended up with two black eyes the next day. But the cool trade off I looked real mean after that. Do not forget ice is your friend after a good fight.

I have a Lab and a German Shepherd. They were barking the entire time.

Well the aftermath is this. My mom went and talked to his mom, because they're best friends. He's in trouble and his mom apologizes. My dad had a talk with me and said this. "Son, I believe it was a very brave thing that you took on an upperclassman. Stupid, but brave." It made me feel better. A lot of people were on my side when they found out, and well, I feel a little better. I wanted to get a message across to him though. This whole ordeal has been going on for two years. I hate him, he hates me. This was the second time he's threatened to come over and beat me up. Last time I backed out. The point was I wasn't gonna take it anymore. No more shit from him, or anyone. If you wanna pick on me, okay, I'll go down in the dirt with you. I'm sick of it. But now I finally did snap and hey, it happened. I lost, but I think I got my point across.
