Mainly because Megabot replies to most of the posts made in this thread, thus making 'conversation' and keeping the post count up. In your thread if I recall I think you were just looking for people's fav music and expected them to just post it and leave it at that. People contribute more when you make an effort to 'inlcude' them in conversations. You have to reply to people's comments (even if you don't agree/think they're stupid) if you want people to keep posting.
