Perhaps you could mail me, and explain just why that sort of thing is acceptable then? Or do you just want to go for Agrippa’s Trilemma? |
Go Back a Few months to the posts about American Taliban John Walker, and you'll find you posed the same question about treason. Evidently, my statements then didn't leave much of an impression on you...LOL.

Dramnek...You imply anybody that believes different than you are evil. Silver Cheetah, trying to justify your words with the defence of "way of thinking" is not legit. You can make posts to support your "way of thinking" without breaking the TOS rules. You could have easily made those posts without rudeness. You are NOT being polite, and respecting another's country...since you specifically posted to "you Americans". You are not refraining from hateful language. See above. Finally, you are not being nice, and I see your posts as antagonizing. I feel you are trying to harass a certain group that feels good giving credit to a God that they feel is part of thier country. The rules are stated. Please obey them and leave out comments that hurt.

Alright everyone, let's take it down a notch. I've been away for months and forgot how enjoyable debating here can be, and I forgot how quickly things can escalate to accusation and insinuation.
Besides, there is no reason to get upset, when clearly, everyone knows I'm ultimately right

I'm sorry, Larry, but I just read this thing through, and I really don't see an aggressive or overly hostile attitude here. I really think you are going a bit overboard with quoting the TOS and accusing these two of flame-baiting. Let's not look for trouble where there isn't any.
Silver Cheetah and Ronn B'man (sorry if misspelled), there are some schools where you do have to say the pledge of allegiance every day... I happened to be in those schools all throughout growing up! The course I took was to just stay silent during the "under God" words. Nobody really cared -- the rest of the class was loud enough that they weren't going to notice one person just mouthing things. But I do agree that unless folks are willing to say "under Allah" or "under the Goddess" that the words should be left out. 'Nuff said. AliCat |

What I was saying that is America is not a paragon of virtue, There are many good things that it has done, and many good things about it, but I cannot recall any redeeming features about interfering with Chilean democracy or supporting the Shah of Iran and SAVAK etc. If I kill an innocent child but say that I do it “to make the world a better place” does that automatically stop it from being evil? No, There is gap between what people (and nations) say, and what they actually do |
