Mostly, the whole thing with christmas and the new year starting. A time to crawl out of the damp dark space that houses the computer and see the people who name themselves your relatives and friends. It goes hand in hand with sleep deprivation, sugar-induced stupors and holidays which make it the perfect time to get out of the house completely.
If not one or more of the above, there's the alcohol, winter depression and tradition of neat-computer-game-gift-granting to be blamed. Or maybe the aliens, a random government or the alignment of the planets.
Whatever the case, it'll pass soon enough.

*nods* thanks, I'm back at work, so should be able to post a bit more than I have been (had to take most of last week off because we can only save so much time off each year)

I had a post, but decided to think it over first. Cyril, you have been sent a copy of it for your opinion. Look for it in a place near to the sky.

For everyone else...I hope that you all are familiar enough with the Mage to know that a demi-god in D&D can have up to 4 avatars at one time, representing his presence. What I have done is make three of the avatars active due to the battle taking place, and one of the three has been assaulted by the winds of Cyril...so two more are rallying in anger. The fourth has been left to guard the tower.
