"And am I right in guessing that you don't remember most of your past either like all of us?"

Faironi nods "I found myself awake in a temple with no clergy a few towns back.. " Fairioni sighs softly "So I came out here to find out what happened. "

"So... shall we see if we can't find out what's going on, already?"

"Yes, we should go to the forest and try to ask those trees some questions." Verrion realised how awkward his sentence was and chuckled to himself.

"Why do you chuckle? Trees are sentient beings and do also have feelings. And the sooner we get there the sooner we find out what is going on with the world."

She started walking towards the edge of the village.

Walking next to Drusalia, Verrion appologized "Yes, I know. I am sorry if I have offended you. I know trees are sentient, but normally they don't answer if you ask them something. I believe this experience with the talking woods will be interesting."

"The great Kigotuvi once bound his life to a tree... He saw many a thing and a thing many... at least I think I recall reading that somewhere... Either way, they're bound to posess knowledge beyond our own comprehension due to their sheer long-lividness... I've heard some trees are set-back, however, and with their age, wisdom did not come, due to their dedication to long-since outdated morals and living standards which govern their view of the world and how they spend most of their time ignoring it, or even bothering to philosophise about it..."

"What can he know of trees? I'd guess he never even spoke to any of them." - she said muttering under her breath. She then turned around and spoke to the necromancer:

"What would you know about the subject? Have you ever conversed with a tree? Do you know that they also have feelings? And not being able to move does not mean that they are lesser beings than you in any way. They actually have the time to think about the greater picture. They don't only see what us mortals can. I respect the trees for their greater wisdom. And even if there are a few among them who are an exception to this, you must know that not all mortals are of the same standards either."

The last comment was obviously directed at Able.

Able squinted his eyes an blinked... real... slowly...

...

"Ok... I didn't mean to come off as someone who thinks trees are inferior... I was just saying that some trees which I've read about are real stuck-up... some... not all..."

Whether Able was trying to cover up his earlier mistake or was sincere she could not know.

"Try to choose your words more carefully next time then. Some people do care about nature."
