Once Khalraan had been sufficently booted out of the pool, Alliene used her magic to heat the water up. A quick wash was all she needed, although she wasn't eager about traveling all the way down to Amn. A dimension door would bring them half of the distance, and then another would bring them the rest, but they were in no hurry, so they could travel the last half. Sighing to herself, she scrubbed her hair and did a few laps under the water, relishing the feel of fresh water flowing through her gills. Feeling sufficently clean, she hopped out of the pool and quickly wrapped herself up in her robe. Making sure her sash was tied tightly, she headed towards her room and bumped into Calaethis and Aeris in the hallway. Giving them thoughtful looks, she tossed her wet hair behind her shoulder,
"We are leaving shortly to go to Amn, boys, so pack your things and get ready," she turned and headed to her room to get dressed and get her thinhgs together.

Aeris nodded. Yes Alliene. Aeris turned and walked to his room. He grabbed most of his stuff and packed them all together. He clipped his longswords to his belt and walked back down to the tavern where he sat at one fo the tables that was still standing.

Calaethis nodded and glanced at his cousin. "May I speak with you? In private please? he asked gently. She didn't seem to be... in a peeved mood, but... it was hard to tell.

ic- Skye waited until Cal had walked away, following Alliene, then spoke to the mortified Sylquis. "Don't worry, he was only teasing," she reassurred her gently. She looked around the tavern to make sure no one was in earshot, then leaned towards the younger elf with a mischievious grin. "I wouldn't mind brushing Cal's hair once in awhile myself." She winked merrily, then put a finger to her lips. "But don't tell Cal... we don't want him to be too full of himself, now do we?"

Still grinning, she hopped off the stool she had been sitting on and stretched. Downing the rest of her coffee (ooc- I don't care if it doesn't technically exist, my char needs coffee! :grr: ) Skye whirled towards Sylquis. "Well, we should probably get our stuff together so we can leave. In fact, you should get some things before we travel. Why don't we go see what I have and what you have, and get what we're still missing?" she asked the small elf cheerfully.

ooc- this will be a good way for Skye to meet Tyra... [img]smile.gif[/img]

Alliene nodded as Calaethis followed her to her room. She doffed her robe and quickly started to buckle on her hard leather, swords, ect.
"What is it you wanted to speak to me about, cousin?" She was sure she knew what though.

Shadow looks uncertain for a moment but at the mention of breakfast he smiles, "Yes breakfast sounds wonderful."

Calaethis simply embraced her and whispered in her ear; "Are you better now cousin? I'm... sorry I was... so rude to you earlier. My behaviour was appaling. I had no right to behave like that in front of you when you were griving... Forgive me please?" he clung tightly to her and refused to let go until she psychically forced him. He also muttered, "Don't look around too closely when we're downstairs, the stupid humans started it - and Verloren has already dealt with it..." He trailed off.

Sylquis smiled and lead Skye up to her room. Tyra was dressed now, similarly to her sister, only she wore green breechs and a pastal bluish-grey tunic. Her dark hair was past shoulder-length, and hung freely down her back, save a couple of braids. Her sister in contrast had blonde hair, bright yellow. She smiled at her sisters entrance, not yet seeing Skye...

Zachana grinned and held his hand as they walked down to the common room.
<<Zachana, don't dally too much longer, we're getting ready to leave for Amn. Eat quickly>>
Zachana sent her agreements then spoke to Shadow, "Alliene tells me that we're leaving for Amn, so we must eat quickly," unfortunatley when they reached the common room, they found it more or less torn to shreds, "Ok...maybe we could get something anyway. Fresh meat is what I feel like,"

Alliene cocked her head at her cousin,
"Though I am dissapointed that you would not think my faith in Shar was strong, she visited me last night and told me all I needed to hear. I forgive you, of course," her smile barely touched those still cold eyes.

Shadow stopped and looked at Kai, "Alliene told you this when? I know that you are keeping something from me. I do not take kindly to people trying to make a fool out of me." He removes his hand from hers.

Calaethis let go of his cousin. His eyes were frosty. "You've changed Alliene." he said quietly. "I don't know who you are anymore. Nor do I want to know. He looked into her eyes deeply, one last time, and turned and walked from the room. As he left, he said softly. "It was only a suggestion. A kinder diety perhaps - it does not matter anymore. Goodbye Alliene. I'll meet you in the common room with the others."
