I have sworn an oath to defend the defenseless, and right now you are pretty defenseless. That may change, but facts are facts. But, you have foolishly made it clear that Sorsha shall be safe if you are not free to betray her, so here you stay, hands free or bound, it is your choice. Heighho, hap you think that life without your farm boy is torture, but if you fall into my sister's hands again, she would quickly show you different. He's better off without you, any road. Probably off with some simple girl who'll not torment him with vapours and tantrums." (she laughs at her discomfiture)

Eliza

The colour of her cheeks rises to a fiery red ~ "Bah! What's this talk about betrayal? Did I ever say I wished her harm?" ~ She shakes her head, her lovely locks flitting in the gentle breeze ~ "All I was told to do was..." ~ She bites her tongue, the taunts of Galadria ringing against her ears.

"Go on and mock me! You're no true paladin to delight in others' discomfort." ~ Her green eyes glittering now with spirit.

Raymond

"Oh, but do not let this alarm you! I allowed you to sleep on purpose. I am well enough off. Besides...last night was rather spooky. I...well, nevermind...let's just leave it at that."

The two hopelessly lost adventures pack up camp after breakfast and begin to leave, continuing on the road that they left the eve before. They feel like they are no closer to realizing a destination than the previous day, yet their spirits are high and they tred down the road, merrily. Yet,...Raymond once in a while will look over his shoulder, almost as though he was expecting to see something there. He tries to be as secretive about these sideways glances as possible.

Jaime

Jaime tries to hide a yawn as he continues to hear the girls bickering. He looks over to Sorsha to see her being unnerved at all this commotion in her interests...

Looking around, he wonders if the party is being watched over by his friends,...and what they are thinking of all this...especially of the harry one...

Isaura

She strides alongside Raymond, smiling secretly as he darts furtive glances over his shoulders ~ Not very subtle, is he? ~ Strangely calm despite the uncertainty of the future, she gazes ahead, wondering what the path will lead to.

"What do you think we'll bump into, Raymond?" ~ her soft voice murmurs from behind the veil ~ "Are you looking for monsters to fight? Damsels to rescue?" ~ Her eyes seem to sparkle unwillingly as the light from the sun dances off their surface.

Her eyes rake over Jaime's smirking face as she hears his feigned yawn. Daggers shoot from the emeralds as she glares at his impudent face ~ "The rat..." ~ She murmurs, ignoring Galadria now ~ This whole pack of filth is starting to wear on me... ~ But there seems to be no escape.

A wrong move, and she would be caught by deadly foes. ~ Damn this cursed life! ~ Her lips tremble ~ Damn you, Raymond!

Watching over his shoulder, Raymond did not realize that Isaura had momentarily paused in the path to ask him something...and bumped into her.

"Oh!...S.Sorr..Sorry, Isaura...I ...was just looking behind , and ...I er...bumped into you!...Well, of course you know that, right? Um...I am sorry. I ...just wanted to see if we were being followed or something, you know?"

GALADRIA(to Eliza, stung a little)"Alas, princess, my duty to protect little Sorsha precludes any pleasantries on my part. Had we met otherwise, we might have been friends, who knows?? But for now, your activities have left me little choice but to mistrust you. If you wish my pleasant side, earn it. You shall not find me unresponsive. But, continue your nettlesome ways, you might even feel my steel. Who knows?" (sighs) "We all have parts to play, duties to do. I have but little leeway, for any lack of watchfulness on my part might lead to Sorsha's death, and all through misplaced kindness on my part. That would be the ultimate evil, I deem."
