I have gotten spidersilk everytime I went to where the seventh bough is in Tryton. I beleive you get it from giant spiders.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat, LordOgre.. Sold those staves before I remembered I could use em.. Not that I particularly need a staff (assuming I thinking of the weapon proficiencies/skills correctly) but it'd still be neat to get. And I am almost ashamed to say that pretty much every monster that could drop a particular needed ingredient have done so and in abundance.. I've started running into tanto wasps en masse and at least one from each group drops wings.. Same with the first several groups of large spiders in Trynton (mainly on the ground, not in the trees). I'll have to go back and find out what the wings are used for, though, as I don't recall..

humm, so far 4 spider silks from mt gigas, 2 mummy dusts( 1 from mt gigas secret, 1 from trynton graveyard), 4 spirit staffs (all from willow saplings in the trynton temple);
well, monsters drop what they have to at the first time; (at least thats my impression);all those monsters with parts for custom items dropped what they have very willingly;

PS: Aria is still nakey. well, her robes are threadbare and i worry that she's gonna start backfiring her spells because of her deep, dark depression. ::sighs::

i just brought the SuperGirls thru the monastery, umpani area, graveyard and into trynton. we got 11 venom crab shells, 2 skulls AND 6 SILKS (dropped by 4 spiders - go fig that one?!?).

and guess what? not a single faerie in the party!!!

please forgive me! i wasn't referring to your post at all!!

i was trying to be silly because i was turncoating on Vap and telling him how my other group just got all those crabshells and spidersilks. and it looks like it came out all backwards and wrong!

please don't be upset. you prolly don't know this, but i try out everything that other people have suggested, so this thread has been a wonderful way to get ideas on different things to try. and hearing other people say how they got theirs gives me hope that i will someday get my silk, too.

It's been about three weeks since I played... sigh...

It's just after work (400+ calls holding all day) mentally wipes me out... and doing tech support... I just can't stand the idea of computers when I get home.

I hate going through burnout! :/
