Actually, there was a breed of faeries(im not sure if THEY were the Irdas) whom were beatiful and intellegent, but they angered the gods and were thus turned into the hideously ugly and very stupid race of Giants. Or perhaps they were some form of elves...hmm...dont remember excatly, since its been quite a long time since i last read those books. BTW, it was believed that Raistlin had a Daughter with an Irda. Her name is Usha, though later it was discovered that she wasnt really Raistlin's daughter, despite her golden eyes and silvery hair. Anyway, thats how i recall it being.

Do you remember what book this is from? I read the first story (where Raistlin first meets her) in Tales, but I only got as far as Preludes (vol.1) before I started college and got too busy. Anywhos, I'm graduating soon and want to catch up. Those were my favorite books back in the day.

Reason why I think half-orcs are damn sexy:

They are so direct and extroverted. They are not hiding their feelings. They are living them out.

They are independent and can fend for themselves. If someone make indecent advances towards a half-orc lass HE is the one who is going to suffer.

They are big and meaty without sacrificing the gracious human form.

Warm leafy green is a beautiful skin colour.

Well... Thinking about the whole Half Orc issue...

I reckon shagging a Half Orc lady could really yank somebody's crank if they were into domination. I mean, there is no way one could shag a Half Orc. They would be in total control, throwing you down, and having their way with you. What man could resist a 400 pound large green and hairy woman that looks like the love child of Rosanne Bar and the Jolly Green Giant? Half Orcs probably aint interested in foreplay either. No screwing around, just get down to business.
