I got my camera - it is so cool, and very user-friendly, plus a carry case for it. Also a few calendars for my house and office, a new bedside clock, a pestle and mortar, some chocolates, and a book with lots of cute puppy pictures. As well, yesterday and today my dad is helping me paint my apartment.
Yeah, looks are deceiving, and I have the thousand scratches to prove it. She can be sweet, when she wants to be though.

I got a new cell phone, since *somebody* apparently let it slip out of his pocket when he was buying lumber. (And it turned out to be piss-poor quality lumber at that.)

My wife will be getting a samoyed (female) when we can find one that looks healthy and "normal". Fuzzy, cuddly, and always smiling, but I really hope the new pup won't be as much of a barker as our other samo. The neighbors will have fits.

Also got a Christmas tree and a turkey. Don't laugh! Getting a turkey in these parts is no mean feat. The best thing, though, was I got Christmas this year. As in, get together with the family, eat lots of turkey, and sit around being mellow. (Versus last year, when my wife had a load of her friends over for Christmas Eve, and Christmas day we got tricked into sitting for what seemed like four hours to some damn pyramid scheme. I still hold that against the guy who did that.)

Very good Christmas this year.

Hmm. After reading this thread from start to finish, i've realised that i must've been a naughty boy this year. Everyone else got good stuff!

I did get a dice and card gift set, which is cool. And some clothes.

I also got a barbecue spatula thingy. Presumably to go with the barbecue that i was supposed to be getting for christmas. So i stole the parents' bbq. I even stole dad's Landcruiser to get it home. Mwuhaha, Merry Christmas Muthas!..

I wonder what i'll get next year?..

So what do you do for gaming?? PC Speaker?
Er... nothing. I've been playing my Xbox alot lately, with my new 6.1 surround sound. Pretty sweet sound sometimes, and on movies especially. Master and Commander is amazing to listen to, and so is House of Flying Daggers.
But I have noticed that often times the Xbox doesn't give me the 6.1 sound, it just uses 2 speakers and the subwoofer. Also with the cable, watching movies some don't give me the full surround sound, Bourne Supremecy I watched on a movie channel the other day and it just gave me two speakers. Do you know why that might be?
The DVD's themselves might not have the support for 6.1 encoded on them. I don't find this surprising, seeing as how I've never even heard of 6.1!! I also got some new sweet 2.1's from Altec Lansing, not 5.1 though. There's no where to mount the rear speakers, other than a pile of junk behind me
