Impreza or skyline, 4 while drive, or the HPA VW, that's what I recommend. Or aa F-350.

HPA tuner car's are as good as any, and in most respect better then the other vehicles mentioned. That being said, a GTO is a good car to have as well.
Relax? Who's stressed?
Talking smack, and adding a twist or two is fine, and highly encouraged. But when bluffing....

'Need such a car'? More like want. When's the last time you drove 150+MPH?
Have you ever experienced the Autobahn? Do you air up/down, and hit the track on Saturday mornings? Have you ever been passed at 150MPH by an exotic and felt the "swoosh" as the air disruption went past? Have you ever been bested by a V8 in the 1/4, but had him leave the race at the mile mark ashamed that a wimpy 'fourin' car had bested him? Do you belong to a car club? Do rallies, or special events?

If not, then you probably cannot understand.

The GTO is a a nice ride, don't get me wrong. But GM could have done better. What's scary is that now 4 bangers are tuning to become V-6 hunters, which have been mopping up V-8s, and recently sweeping V-12s. But luckily they are still an inline motor, and don't have the torque to be a heavy contender. But 300 ponies pulling a 2100lb go-kart will best a goat with 400 ponies pulling 3725lb if he's not ready.

You want to make the blue tongue at the new Ford, then you don't understand car lingo, and then ask for help? Are you a ?

I'll type this slowly. 300 ponies = 300 Bhp (brake horse power) pulling a 2100lb go-kart = 300Bhp 4 cylinder honda that weighs 2100lb soaking wet.
400 ponies = 400Bhp (get the pattern here)? Pulling a 3725lb goat = 400Bhp V8 pulling a GTO (goat) that weighs 3725lbs.

AS in, the power to weight ratio would favor the honda. 300bhp/2100lbs = 7lbs per hp. 400bhp/3725lbs = 9.3lbs per hp. Giving the GTO a heavier(Disadvantage) pull.
Oops, my bag. I thought that was a blue tongue, as in choke or whatnot. I'm not a Ford man, but that ride is sweet. Is well deserved.

There you go comparing tuner cars to stockers again....while everything you state here is otherwise correct, you forget that the tuner versions of the 6.0L V8 can and will mop the floor with said honda - and still be rock steady on the limiter at 155mph, which is more than you can say for the honda....

And the stock honda - even the 160hp K20 "smogger" motor in the civic si just doesn't have the balls to keep up with a stock GTO.
