Thanks. Now I just need to work out how this game works.

I have a couple of questions: You build probes and mines to collect resources, but how much do you start off with? And how do you tell how much you have?

Your T, K and score are displayed in the upper sections. When you start, the display puts them in the top right corner... when it changes u to graphicless (which it will), it is right up the top in big yellow lettering.

I have more questions (soz), but: all of IW is in 4:5:5 area and I am in 3:8:4. How did you all get so close together? Can you move your homeworld (ie make a colony your homeworld)? Thnx.

EDIT: is 4:5:5 a "private galaxy"? If so, how do I join it?

As to the Private Galaxy...yes, we have one.

I purchased it the beginning of this round as a 'Christmas present' for those who had played the previous round. Each galaxy has 27 planets and, as of this moment, we only have six more spaces in there.

I will add people to the galaxy as they show they are serious about playing the game and sticking around. There are a few exceptions to this, but so far, none of the newer members has had a chance to play long enough yet for us to see if they are going to do well or not.

Of course, last round, we were ALL spread all over the place.

But if you are concerned about your position, just look around in your galaxy and those just to either side of you and let us know what other alliances are near you. If need be, we might can take some colonies near enough to you to offer you protection until you have played a while and can be added in. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Thanks for bearing with me DragonMage. Anyway, unless something unforseen happens, I am serious about playing, hopefully we can see my score increase over the next few weeks.

EQ is probably the best on-line game I have seen of its type. I have seen others, but not as good as this is.

Well before the back-up was installed I was over the 2 million mark for score and I had only been playing for a day. As long as I am on the internet I have a window open to the game.
