Right. Sephi and Kaz quickly circled around to the left of the building, keeping low while they moved. As they crouched in wait for the explosions and screaming that Neb warned of, he began wondering something. Why does she remind me so much of her? I know that it's not her, but still... this shouldn't be! And the fact that she may be giving my emotions back only makes it worse... The past has alwasy been better left alone, but now it seems as if I can't run away from it forever. Well, I won't let anything happen this time! Sephi locked eyes with Kaz, then quickly broke contact, peering into the window above them.

Kaz saw Seph looking at her strangely again. Why is he acting so strangely? I have never seen him before, or have I? Well, no time for all that now. Kaz waited, hearing explosions and screams. She winced, but tried to remember how she had felt after seeing her parents' death. This was no different, was it? Simple revenge? Time to enter, I guess.

Neb used a Fireball to blast the front door of it's hinges, he then ran through the burning, doorway ignoring the flames, he grabbed an Oil of Explosions in each hand and flung one left and the other right, killing assasins and flinging their dead bodies aside like rag dolls while those who had merely caught fire screamed in pain, Neb decided to add more fun to the battle by casting a Death Spell, this would kill most of the assasins in the room he was in, the sounds were drawing assasins from the rest of the house, good, he thought, this should empty the back rooms where my to friends will be entering.

Hearing the explosions, Sephi burst through the window and came up in a roll. Fially he stopped, got up in a crouch, and drew Shocksword. He looked around for targets, and finally found one assassin that was lagging behind. Quickly he dropped him, silently as he could, then proceeded to move up the stairs. He gestured for Kaz to follow, and when she did he proceeded all the way up to meet a bit more resistance.

Kaz closed her eyes and chanted softly, moving her hands in intricate patterns. The shadows in the corners shifted as four strange beasts, made of flowing darkness, moved into the light. Their eyes glowed red, and they sped towards the assassins at the top of the stairs.

Neb faced ten assasins, all of them confused from the sudden attack upon their hidingplace, Neb cast an Evard's Black Tentacles spell upon the area near them and suddenly huge monstrous tentacles erupted from the floor, squeezing the life from the unfortunate assasins, however, before being crushed one of them managed to fire a crossbow bolt at Neb, it didn't do much damage, merely hitting his thigh but not going into it, hardly even drawing blood.

Sephi met one of the assassins head on, getting thrown into a duel very quickly. The creatures that Kaz had summoned had joined the battle, but were more concerned with the other batch of assassins.
The assassin that Sephi was battling was good, that was for sure. A dagger came at his head, but Sephi dodged it by leaning to the right, then followed with a sword swipe. The assassin parried, then followed with a kick at Sephi's stomach. It connected, throwing him down the stairs. His badly bruised body stood up at the bottom of the stairs, and the assassin laughed as he came running down.
His mind in scatters, the assassin charging down at him, Sephi looked around but found nothing handy. Kaz was struggling with a spell, but it wouldn't get off in time. Finally, Sephi remembered that he had picked up a hand crossbow from the battle earlier. Quickly he drew it, put it on his right hand while switching Shocksword ot his left, and fired. The click of the crossbow firing resonated in his ears, and the bolt dug into the approachig assassin's abdomen, piercing his innards and killing him in a few seconds. He fell the rest of the way down, coming to a stop right before Sephi.

Neb waited for a few seconds to see if there were any more assasins who were going to come into the room to fight him, he could hear fighting upstairs and reasoned that Seph and Kaz had to be busy with the assasins there, fighting his way through the flames that were beginning to spread across the ground floor, Neb reached the stairs down and descended.

Neb's sharp hearing picked up a lot of people at the bottom of the dark stairs, all trying to keep very quiet, but not quiet enough, Neb cast a Mirror Image spell and proceeded downwards, the first assasins to lunge at him from the shadows hit the illusions he had created of himself, Neb quickly cast Domination on those two before they could try to attack him again, he then sent them down the stairs with orders to kill anyone they encountered, he followed 7 feet behind them.

~She grimaces, so much for biting my tongue. She turns to the dwarf calmly. She pulls a pouch from her cloak, showing off several gems from the sea-elven treasury that had now real purpose other than to look pretty. She dangles the bag above the dwarf's head.~ "All from the source. Sea elven they are!" ~She ticks off the various gems.~ "Horn Coral, pearls, turquoise, water opal, waterstar, even a belijuril!" ~She holds the bag above his head.~ "What say you my... opinionative dwarf?"

~The dwarf grunts.~ "I 'taint happy 'bout this place goin' off to a pair o' frolickers..." ~He snorts.~ "All right ye pointy-earred witch. Gimme the gems." ~He jumps up, trying to get the bag.~
