Ah, you are mistaken my friend. Share your views. Your perspective is yours alone, and though it may echo harmoniously with what has been written, it is of value and interest to such as I, for it's uniqueness and individuality. The fact that we may say similar or even identical things is a positive phenomena. Two minds in agreement! Three even!

Saz, we have what we want, desire and aim to be, and what we often are when we fall short. Thankyou my friend.

Sometimes I wish that music would not be so influential in my life but it is. It has emotional effects on me and I think everyone else also. The choice on what to listen to is very, very large. I enjoy everything to classic rock to fandangos. I find myself subconsciously tapping my foot or playing an air guitar often.
If someone drowns themselves in dark music I believe that negative forces work on the human mind like this also. I say if you use your forces for uplifting people you will be honored in the end. It is true you have a choice to listen and buy what you want to.. but responsiblity comes with every talent I can think of and this one is no different. I have supported freedom in music in the past and today is no different. But there are times when one should see a red flag going up and heed to it. Some of the music nowadays is crap..and should at least be labeled accordingly.

Yeah, or a warning on certain films...

"WARNING: If you are divorced and see this film you will want to die."

or

"The jokes contained within this film may cause a reversal of food flow from ones stomach"

or

"Use this film as a cure for insomnia. Do not operate machinery while listening to the soundtrack, or drive a car while dissecting it's plot."

how about:

"This song may inhibit blood flow to the brain and slow mental activity. CAUTION: It will not leave your mind for three weeks."

or

"WARNING: This film and soundtrack will increase certain hormonal activity that may result in the conception of a new human."

Yorick...LOL

It would be a blessing to see true warnings like that!

"Viewing this film may cause a lowering of your intelligence, a slight sloping of the forehead, a lengething of the arms, unrecognizable speech and an urge to delouse your significant other"

I've got to admit it's getting better, it's getting better all the time

Maybe we should get the Surgon General to do it. Kind of like the smoking warnings!
SURGEON GENERAL'S WARNING: This movie may make you want to smoke crack or kill people.

Those teens should be shot for blaming it on heavy metal. In Clockwork Orange Alex would think about murdering people while listening to Beethoven. Thats what he thinks about while listening to Beethoven. Other people dont think about that while listening to Beethoven. It depends on the person not the music! Those kids blamed metal to save their own asses and politicians blamed games because their too stupid or lazy to find out the real problem.

(sigh) Did you even read the posts before you? Alex is a fictional character, from a movie. This is not reality. This has also already been discussed. Thanyou for posting though.

I think if they have a physical age of 5 with a mental age of 6 they should still fry. No, only kidding, that's too good for them. They should injected with something which causes a outbreak of pus filled boils all over their bodies. When the boils burst they die in unbelievable agony. That'll teach them, they won't do that again.
