Gabriel Knight 3 is a must play at least once. Very good ending, with nice challenging puzzels.

If you like Star Wars -> Jedi Academy 3 and KOTOR, I'm all into this right now.

Well basically the way I see it is that there are SO MANY GAMES that people should (note that should play means that the level of the game is so universally great, that it is a shame to not have played these games) play/have played, it becomes nigh impossible to actually play them all. Every month there is a must-play-game releases, so this means that you should simply never stop playing AT ALL, no matter what the game is

I agree Gabriel Knight was a good series, but 3 was horrible. Looked like a Unreal Tournament mystery. Why was Xan so easy?

It wasn't the graphics that mattered man (at least not to me)! It was the sheer mastery with which the creators developed a genuine atmosphere of impending dread, with characters and plot elements that make you feel like you're really part of the unfolding action. I've never felt as immersed in a game as I did during the 5 days of practcially-non-stop playing Gabriel Knight 3. And at the end I felt like kicking Gabriel, and running after Grace! Come back baby! Come back!
