On a more serious note, I knew both the Iggy Pop one and the Recoil one, just decided not to post my answer before some time had passed - and then I simply forgot about them.

And the yellow one is easy as well, and I assume *someone* should be able to figure it out. But in any case, if no one gets it in the next few days, feel free to PM me to remind me to post my answer.

Then again, it's kind of sad that we keep answering each other's entries as no one else seems to get them - unless they're really obvious. Where's Hiero when you need him?

Yeah man, where is he? I can take a pretty good guess but y'know, family forum and all that...

Yeah, I figured that was what happened, you forgetting about my quotes, but you're right we can't go back and forth answering each others quotes. Maybe start a new Groj, Hiero and Mel's Quote thread, no progmetal allowed?

Nah, I think it's just that the forum is a bit too small to have enough people in each musical category, so you'll just have to get off on your perverse musical knowledge at Fok!

And thanks for the offer, but I have good hopes on these two quotes... I think...

I don't think that's it really - I do know the Mighty Mighty Bosstones for instance, but I wouldn't be able to recognise their lyrics. I'm guessing that is the problem with many quotes posted here - people may have heard of the bands after they see the answer, but just not known them well enough to have all the lyrics by heart...

I think that 2 of the songs that are out there are metal and that their lyrics are pretty hard to hear. I heard both bands and probably one of the songs like a week ago but I wouldn't know for sure since I don't pick up lyrics easily especially some metal ones.

Assuming you mean the light blue quote, then yep. I was actually thinking of the John Cale cover version when I picked it, but of course yours is the correct answer, even if I just call him Elvis Presley. Go right ahead!

New light blue - this should be easy if anyone listens to the radio (at least in the US)

<font color = lightblue>
I backed my car into a cop car the other day
Well he just drove off sometimes life's ok
I ran my mouth off a bit too much oh what can i say
Well you just laughed it off it was all ok

chorus

Well, a fake Jamaican took every last dime with a scam
It was worth it just to learn from sleight-of-hand
Bad news comes don't you worry even when it lands
Good news will work its way to all them plans
We both got fired on the exactly the same day
Well we'll float on good news is on the way
</font>
