On a more serious note, I knew both the Iggy Pop one and the Recoil one, just decided not to post my answer before some time had passed - and then I simply forgot about them.

And the yellow one is easy as well, and I assume *someone* should be able to figure it out. But in any case, if no one gets it in the next few days, feel free to PM me to remind me to post my answer.

Then again, it's kind of sad that we keep answering each other's entries as no one else seems to get them - unless they're really obvious. Where's Hiero when you need him?

I don't think that's it really - I do know the Mighty Mighty Bosstones for instance, but I wouldn't be able to recognise their lyrics. I'm guessing that is the problem with many quotes posted here - people may have heard of the bands after they see the answer, but just not known them well enough to have all the lyrics by heart...

I think that 2 of the songs that are out there are metal and that their lyrics are pretty hard to hear. I heard both bands and probably one of the songs like a week ago but I wouldn't know for sure since I don't pick up lyrics easily especially some metal ones.
