I'm with Animal though, I can't remember for anything, who was there, but I'm sure there were 5 of us, all from here. It was my first time to see Ol' Red, though I had heard the stories. I said it then, and I'll repeat it now, that is the way a dragon should be, in those days, Red was the perfect example of dragon.
Edit: Maybe it was Legolas, too. I'm thinking it was the first time I'd run into him there.
Actually I was there in the very early days and most levels weren't finished yet -at least not the way they are now! I think level 5 was being worked on (I recall the dwarven statues!) and I do remember a fight to end all fights with a dragon (after a fight with a huge Boney critter..not sure if it was a blade skeleton or golem at the time) but I'm kind of hazy on the whole thing- mostly I was just trying to avoid dying and failing alot!

(I think there were several times I was there with some of you - one time I did get to the skullport area (what was skullport's beginnings)with a group and someone was playing with a weimic or similar(my first sight of one!)and there was a female magic wielder amongst you).

Though this was back in the local vault days so it was eaiser to get a Weimic into Undermountain back then.

You know it might have been a sphynx, now that I think of it. Was cool, though, I remember thinking that when I saw it!

Yay, I'm not totally senile... LOL, no comments on that one, please! I had to think about it, though because I remembered asking what it was. I thought it was a gargoyle or something.. LOL! But it did look pretty cool when you looked at him bouncing about....didn't know sphynxes could do that! hehe

One of the things I remember liking so much back then was the feeling of uncharted territory and a group of adventurers watching out for one another. It was awesome!
