Loumistro the barbarian, scoured the serpent clean of snakes & other filth. Elyssia was the easiest I've done it, back out of the stadium when she starts talking & lay on a couple of meteorstorms when all the troops appear. After that the mopping up was easy.
Then flew through Shureagan castle with only one hickup when he attacked Haleabus without giving him the mask.
Level 14 barbarian, starting to accrue some serious strength.
Now off to the stout mines to find some good armour.

If Lou, is any good at pickpocket...you could save alot of time, by stealing the key to the throne room vault....there's always 1 suite of armor, in there....

Unless, of course, He's Really evil...Then I suppose, He'll just Hack & Slash his way through All the treasure vaults..... ...Good thing...Signeur Postollio, dosen't have a High Tech security system..LOL

hmm........if u r GOOD instead, you might not want to hack & slash ur way into the treasure vaults. instead, after giving Freyadies the dragon ore and receiving ur dragon armour, you can juz steal the ore back from him by using a Save-then-Steal tactic. using that u can get infinite number of dragon armour to equip n to sell!
u ppl. should have known this rite?

No Lou has no pickpocket skills at all. Now that he is level 17 it is a long way between training visits so it would be too hard to get his skill up. I may as well go into the bowels of the stout mine & find the ore.
Lou decided to take a break from the stout mine & investigate the Boogre cave, he has heard a lot about a bar there. He was boogred for a while but is now back to normal. He managed to kill Goshi din while he was there but he will have to go back to find the idol of Bongo? Bungole? Bungleau? oh I forget what it's called, something like that.
Where is that idol & where is that wolfbeast I am still looking for?

The idol of 'Bongu', is at he very end of the 'Gauntlet'. (After you come out of the underwater tunnel) It's the statue with fire around it, a chest on each side (the one on the right contains, 1 of the 3 sticks) and afew items (including 2 'Booger Brews') on the ground in front of it.
...IIRC...The narrator says something about the items being left as an offering to the strange God. If you give him a brew...He gives you a new trait.....I don't remember what the others are...but..save, before you start...and reload until you get 'Giant Strike'...Grants a 25% chance to deal Double damage from hand weapons....

As for the 'Wolfbeast'....He's a wanderer...Just like Jathil. He roams the same general area...only he goes farther north and south. I've found him as far south as the pheonix...and as far north as the entrance to 'Dragon Spire'.

Cool! I never thought I might have my own idol. I'll have to look a little more closely when Missy gets there later this week to check for any family resemblance.

And yes, Packrat, there are four sticks. I forget where they all are, but I've had them all in my greedy little paws...

Just noticed Kev asked me a question. My whiska's name is Absinthe. She's named after my pet ferret who is quite the pest and too adventurous for her own good. Long story on how the ferret got the name.

On the boogre idol discussion, I have yet to get near the Idol of Bongu without getting cooked. I've always just taken the damage. It still gives you the blessing.

I found that if you drank the boogre brew & stepped into the flames you got healed, but if you stayed too long it would then burn you.
Tator, did you name your ferret Absinthe when it used your fingers to cut its teeth in? My 1st day with a ferret was a bloody one.
