Abusing this trick made the II MOD waaaaaay easier.
Still, this is too specific to be considered a valid tactic, IMO.

As I said before, a Thief can finish the fight, way, way, way, wayyyy faster than a Mage/Sorcerer/Druid; and I mean all the fights including the pools of power( Trap Bombing). In light of this, you have to admit that the Spike Trap is more cheesy.

I never claimed that a Mage can do it faster - i only said that the battle will last less than a second.
Setting 1000 Skull Traps is indeed tedious, but i was making a point, here. [img]smile.gif[/img]
And yes, Spike Traps are indeed among the cheesiest things in the game, right up there with Imoen's Belt, MINHP01 and Nature's Beauty.

? For such a powerful spell, they should at least fix the radius of the area-of-effect( and make it a hostile spell). I find it hard to swallow that a level 7 spell can be more powerful than level 8 or 9 ones.
