I got sidetracked doing non-computer stuff, so I actually haven't chosen, but I"m thinking brown and green respectively.

I don't really have a preference for the troglodyte, I was just thinking that since I'm picking the brown werewolf, I should pick a color other than brown for the troglodyte.

How weird is it that I have a preference for colors of werewolves?

You can also have a mix of werewolves in one group, perhaps

I like the brown troglodyte (the original), and then the gray one

For my own use of werewolves and troglodytes, I will use a mix of colors. The hard part is picking the default ones.

I've changed my mind since the last post and am going to go with your originals - grey werewolf, brown troglodyte. I like the idea of the werewolf and wolf having the same color scheme, so then that frees up brown for the troglodyte.

Sounds good to me!

I guess for realism, we could use green troglodytes in forest, brown in mountains/dun landscapes, and gray in dungeons... and whitish werewolves in arctic, gray/black for the rest.

(But that would be complicated...)

Adding the troglodyte right now. I am not as up on troglodyte coloration, but werewolves probably could be any color, but white except in the arctic. Their coloration depends a lot on the human who contracted the disease.

I would have thought that the werewolf who gave the disease would probably be the source of the colors? Well, we don't know - there is a lot of vagueness regarding werewolves in the MM, on purpose...

Hmm, this is an excellent point to ponder.

I suppose a natural blond might be unhappy with being a black-furred werewolf and vice versa.

Eww - blonde werewolf? That is even worse than a redhead werewolf, methinks...
